Ah, so you never read my Captain’s log for the LPU Enterprise huh? I no longer consider it a “lockdown” because we’re now allowed to meet 6 people and many shops are slowly starting to reopen. As for work, our office is not yet open. I really don’t know when it will be because they may have to stagger people going back - so they’ll prioritise those who can’t work at home whereas I can. Anyway, we maybe back in next couple of weeks

Ot: we started “our own big garden project”( that’s what my mum likes to call it), means we’re building a terrace in our garden, on our own. That’s why i didn’t and won’t have much freetime or actually none at all​:joy:
The whole thing started bc my parents took a huge load of historical tiles with them back in the day when somewhere else in munich they wanted to build sth new instead and everyone who wanted could take those old tiles with them(except that nobody but my parents wanted to have them) so we had those stored in the cellar for years, and now we’re finally using them. (On the place the terrace will be there was a sandbox before and when we were younger they wanted to keep that sandbox for us kids to play instead of a terrace).

Always! Mine are all like a journey too, like I knew my first one was going to be music related cause I simply loved it since I was a kid, second one represents my love for nature and a specific park here in London, third (unfortunately) was an exception cause it’s my LP/Chester tat I got after he passed away (even though I had promised myself I would never get a band related tattoo) and fourth represents all my memories from touring Europe to see Mike on his PT Tour, especially Amsterdam (it’s a very important and special day to me).

There were only two others working with me this morning, they were also taking half days. We were just about ready to leave, when we received a call to set a bunch of tables up for our virtual budget vote next week. I had two bad days.
The world gets me sometimes, and then, I feel guilty to have this privilege to be messed about so little. Sigh. And Yeah, felt lonely. For weeks now, besides some talk with tourists, my only contact is viral.
And what did I do?
Switched off my mobile data.
If you feel alone, be alone.
But as I said, it got better after two days.
Still couldn’t return to this place. I was bothered with some things and had to find my way through, thought processing.
Yesterday then was my day of starting to do something about my discomfort.

She is so overloaded with work that she is just running from one catastrophic chaos into the next. Literally broke down on the phone, started crying.

I never can compete with that. Nothing so dramatic with me. Sure, I know, I could never ever handle the pressure she is under. That’s why I don’t have a farm on my own. And I know, I have to stand up for my needs. But how can I put more pressure on her? And if I don’t, I will probably never leave this island again.

Yeah these are quite thick and it makes it harder to breathe. The paper ones we have at work are better but still after a while it’s really hard to breathe, I need to keep mine off if I’m not in contact with people otherwise I might pass out, my levels go very low. I don’t know what I’m going to do in public transport, it’s stuffy enough already in there, can’t imagine wearing a mask too!

OT: I’ve been freezing these last 2 days at work, it’s so windy, it’s not fun. I’m hoping to finish a bit early today and maybe manage to catch a nap at home if I can. I have some cool vinyls coming today so hopefully they’ll be there when I’m back from work. I’ll try to come on plug and catch up with you all if I’m on time

honestly don’t know what’s going to happen with the music industry. Every time I get a reminder on my phone about an upcoming gig I was supposed to go to my heart sinks. I really hope it’ll be back to normal by next year but in the mean time I will try and go to as many small gigs as I can to make up for it (first one due in August, fingers crossed).

I know what you mean, I see it at work, it’s so weird people can’t see that you are smiling or nodding through the mask, it’s sad. As for hugs, I can’t do without them, especially when I’m very stressed (happens a lot at work) which is pretty much why we do hug at work, a lot. We’re together every day for hours so it’s safe enough.

Yeah, i’m trying to use other body language more, but it’s still weird. And aa i miss hugs so much… today a friend stopped by to give me back some books she had borrowed from me and when she wanted to hug me i couldn’t say no and hugs are just so good​:pensive:

One of my favourite songs i adore this song so much​:heart_eyes:the lyrics really speak to me and it’s so so beautiful. I think that song is always relevant but recently i thought about it a lot. As i told you here, the situation with my mum and her boyfriend and everything was kinda messed up, but now i really feel that i…just let it go. The lyrics ARE MY THOUGHTS i do remember all the sadness and frustration that’s exactly how i felt but now… i have let go and i’m peaceful and it’s ok.
I don’t wanna talk much about this situation anymore i’ve had so many talks about it so it is what it is and i’m ok with it now. My perspective on it changed and for now it’s good😊

That’s bad i’m sorry you had those feelings😔about the privilege: it’s ok how you feel, your feelings are valid no matter what’s the reason. And i think feeling guilty shows that you really care about others and you know there’s other,maybe more heavy reasons to feel bad or lonely but that doesn’t make your feelings not valid.

OT: Guess what guys! We flooded at work… again! (Photos in When and Where). Bloody idiots haven’t fixed anything and it was such a mess. I was forced to close early, ran like a maniac to turn off electricity etc. I unfortunately left 2 things plugged (was too scared to unplug them with so much water around) which I bet are damaged now and I’ve no idea in what state things are going to be in the morning. Such a hectic day! I did get my vinyl though (signed too), excited to listen to it on my day off!

Tonight was the first time i spent the evening with some friends since march. It feels soooo good to see them again and spend time together.

Stability, Rituals and to experience things as predictable is giving the most of us safety and that’s what’s missing very much in these Corona Pandemie times.

It is so important (to try) to trust in our own abilities and give exactly this safety to ourselves!

And I’m not only totally in with you on that. I’m probably even a little more extreme
It’s what makes the world intresting, different points of view.
It’s why I am on facebook, have a shepherding group there, cause I’m curious about what others do.
I actually believe that, besides love and tolerance, curiosity into others, their lives, circumstances and viewings can save us all.
Always look at things from all possible angles.
It’s also my job. I work as substitute on different sheep farms. They all solve the same issues differently. And are mostly sure, that this is the only right way doing this.
I view this, and do it their way. My goal is not to bring my way in, but that the farm owner can take their absence, knowing the farm will be exactly the way, they want it to be. That’s what makes me so good at my job.

I struggled. Didn’t felt at home anymore and actually thought about leaving. But I would miss you all terribly. And I came to the conclusion, that I have to do something about it. Part of my discomfort was actually my own dishonesty. Where this is the place, where I have the rule to never be it. So I spoke, stated it. And I think and hope it’s done now.
Be sure, I have no intention to get anyone involved or expecting to take sides or a stand.
It is at it is, let it be.

Buuuut, I so could go just home!
I start to get homesick!

My books.
Music!!! With still just my phone data, I don’t listen to any music, besides the one, I already have offline. Plug was a big treat, did cost me 2GB out of 9 I have for the whole month.
Oh, and my friends. Haven’t seen most of them even before I left, cause of confinement. Saw them last in February

It’s an awesome way of getting in touch with your fans, which is beneficial at this time. We can chat about anything with Daniel but there are a few things we have to be careful about. Eg, about his looks. Like Till, he thinks he’s ugly so anything about saying that he’s beautiful or good looking, he will ignore.
