As a Greek, I approve . Do you live in Poland by the way?

Another Greek… we’re a lot all of a sudden.

Well, this is my third year as an official LPU member (I only had an LP account previously). But I am rather self-conscious to post in the forums (having previous unpleasant experience from other communities). I am bit of a “lurker” all these years…
Hope you don’t mind

@gatsie you know what… this is a famous dish here… It tastes a bit sweet. (i dont know about yous but the shape is exactly somewhat same)

We call it karanji here!

That’s pretty much what we call a Cornish pasty over here.

The one on the picture is a “pastel goreng”. There are many variations to it. This one is filled with chicken, veggies and what we call “soe-oen”,.

This is the filling actually:

Then today I had some panada, which is also a pasty but instead of chicken there’s fish inside and the dough is softer, like a bun. :yum:

Almost read that as ‘panda’.

In Mexico, these would be empanadas :yum:

Caramelized apple in them is bomb

I don’t think I’d ever be able to eat a panda :stuck_out_tongue:

The Indonesian name for the dish Panada is actually derived from empanadas, as I am told!

Never had any of these pasties with sweet filling though. I’m missing out so it seems :stuck_out_tongue:

Even me!!! :joy:

Hungry for chocolate

That Ł is so characteristic  (and tricky pronunciation-wise). Visited Poland twice. Such a beautiful country

I just ate half a kilo of plain yogurt.

Breakfast

Some of the letters are very big problem even for natives  especially in orthography. Which city you’ve visited? I’ve hope I could visit Greece on the next month…if it not works maybe Prague :stuck_out_tongue:

I dont know what y’all call this. It is made up of pumpkin. Have a look … Not on the newspaper, food
