The Tavern - Open 24/7

I notice they always wave. Wave goodbye. :joy:

LOL, maybe they’re waving goodbye to the cats who’ve ended up in a dish :stuck_out_tongue:

If I had a pet cat I’d name it “Roadkill”.

A few years ago, I heard about cat stew in Italy:

I’d have some cat stew. :yum:

I wanna try some squirrel too. There’s plenty around my garden, maybe I can take one out with project Hellhound. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Yup. I am different. Everyone is like “what sort of vegetarian doesn’t eat all vegetables?” But. Some meat eaters don’t like lamb, chicken or something and nobody is questioning them. I am just picky.
I know that fish is a bit weird topic as some vegetarians eat it. I don’t as it has veins and this ugly bits blah.

There’s a big variations

Vegan: Vegans do not consume any animal products or by-products. So vegans of course do not consume red or white meat, fish or fowl. They also do not consume eggs and dairy. Vegans do not use honey or beeswax, gelatin and any other animal by-product ingredients or products. Vegans typically do not use animal products such as silk, leather and wool, as well.

Lacto Vegetarian: Lacto-vegetarians do not eat red or white meat, fish, fowl or eggs. However, lacto-vegetarians do consume dairy products such as cheese, milk and yogurt.

Ovo Vegetarian: Ovo-vegetarians do not eat red or white meat, fish, fowl or dairy products. However, ovo-vegetarians do consume egg products.

Lacto-ovo vegetarian: Lacto-ovo vegetarians do not consume red meat, white meat, fish or fowl. However, lacto-ovo vegetarians do consume dairy products and egg products. This is the most common type of vegetarian.

Pollotarian: Much like the pescatarian, this “semi-vegetarian” diet restricts meat consumption to poultry and fowl only. Pollotarians do not consume red meat or fish and seafood

Pescatarian (Pescetarian): While technically not a type of vegetarian, these individuals do restrict their meat consumption to fish and seafood only. Pescatarians do not consume red meat, white meat or fowl. This is considered a “semi-vegetarian” or “flexitarian” diet.

Flexitarian – A plant-based diet with the occasional meat item on the menu. These folks do their best to limit meat intake as much as possible and they have an almost entirely plant-based diet. This is not technically considered a “vegetarian” diet, but we commend the effort!

EDIT: and of course vegetarians who didn’t eat any type of meat but they could eat dairy products, honey or eggs.

At the risk of starting an unnecessarily big argument I wanted to ask something. Why do people become vegetarian or vegan? As a species we humans are omnivores thus we eat everything. Black bears are omnivores too but they don’t choose to be vegetarian so why do humans?

This isn’t an attempt to start an argument I’m just genuinely curious about the reasoning behind it.

The way I understand it is because of how animals are treated before/while they are killed for us to eat later. At this point, their purpose is to be raised with insane diets or whatever to later be killed in the most inhumane possible way.

As an animal lover and animal rights advocate but not a vegetarian, I totally get it. I just can’t do without meat, for health and hunger reasons.

Ah so it’s for moral reasons. Understood. I’m interested in animals too but I gotsta get me my meat.

Normal for me…love lemon juice…

Never had it (I dont think that lemon dessert would taste so good) how does it tastes??

Well not in India. Dont know about other places

I dont

I will be kicked off if I say this to my mom…she’s complete veg!!!:stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

No you aren’t it’s correct.

Terminator’s cat roadkill…somehow like owner😋
(Kidding)

Mainly in India…there are people who have some religions…they are complete veg…they dont even have egg…some are like we should not kill animals…(somehow I am one of them )

Most people do that as the animals deserve to live.
Personally i stopped with the meat when I was 10. I was eating a chicken and asked my mum what’s that blue thing in the chicken. She said vein and that was it. I found it incredibly disguisting and refused to have any meat ever.

I always thought it was a muscle or something but a vein makes sense. I think it would disgust you personally that I actually love that part of the chicken because it’s nice and slimy compared to the rest of the chicken which tends to be dry and stringy. :joy:

Eww lol
It is weird sometimes when people are afraid to eat meat in front of me like they may offend me.
You can eat whatever you want but don’t try to force me to eat it or convince me that meat is awesome.
Sometimes i am making comments like “poor little chicken/lamb/pig was enjoying the sunshine and someone killed it”. But people who know me know I am just joking.

Depending on how they were kept. If it was a chicken it was probably waiting for the sweet release of death consider how some are kept, so I’m doing it a favour by eating it. Win/win. :joy: I know most are kept in the open now though.

Well i know what is going on with the animals. But this is a food chain and we can’t stop people from eating meat. I know some people will go and scream MEAT IS MURDER while you’re enjoying the burger or chicken

Sweet potatoes with carrot in butter with rosemary

We can’t break the food chain but as a humans we can make the choises. As a big animal loverI didn’t agree with aminal threatment in slaughterhouses . I dont want no part of this. Btw my health is going 100% better.

Edit: After 10 yrs :stuck_out_tongue:

Fooooood!
