@the_termin8r how do you get dried super glue off your fingers?

Depending on your resources.

  • Sharp blade and lots of care
  • Medium grain sandpaper
  • Superglue debonder…obviously lol
  • Acetone (nailpolish remover) and sandpaper
  • Wait it out, it’ll fall off in a few days
  • Nitro fuel from what I’ve heard

Didn’t get notification of your response! Constant hand washing with warm water seems to have done the trick. Thanks.

You got lucky, water usually never helps me. :joy:

Is it normal to sandpaper your nails instead of using a file? I’ve found that I get much better results with the paper. :joy:

Yeah! I do it sometimes too lol

I don’t have sandpaper lying around but not sure it would curve as well as a metal nail file? I have very short nails anyway so it doesn’t take long. This reminds me I need to file mine. Miracle I got that glue off.

It’s fine for curves, though I’m not pedantic about my nails, I just sand them to get rid of sharps edges.

Suerglue isn’t that bad. You can get a lot worse on your hands. I actually once accidentally superglued my lips shut. :joy:

How is this even possible?

I used to be into Warhammer 40K as a kid (a very nerdy and hideously overpriced board game that involves building and painting armies of tiny plastic figures). I was building some figures with superglue, but the superglue I was using had a little brush. I had the figure relatively close to my face so I could see what I was doing when a couple of drops got flicked off the brush and onto my lips. You’d be surprised how well 2 drops will stick something. I freaked out a bit at first and then thought “screw it.” Opened my mouth and that was it, it hurt but there was no blood or anything.
