Random Poll Thread

Do you not have a battery curve section in your settings somewhere? Also, do you not pay attention to how often you plug it in? lol

Well, until recently yes I would say I charge about once a week - but my battery is having problems right now so this was the worst poll you could have done.

What issues are you having?

Currently it won’t charge whilst switched off at all, very choppy charging and slow. I’ve had this issue with this company before and unfortunately it always happens after the warranty expires.

Oh god, that’s a mess. Sounds like a battery or a charging circuit problem, especially if it’s happened before. Not really much you can do about it without replacing parts or the phone.

Thanks. It’s a bit better when charged switched on.

Take it from experience, don’t react straight to the brakes lol…
people flip out and eff up
Tiny movements are huge in split second moments
Soon as you lose traction/friction whatever you want to call it, you’re effed haha

Same as @anna834, I’ve done it…recently too, cars smashed into each other in front of me on highway, 5m in front and nudged right, onto the shoulder and skimmed between a fishtailing van headed toward me and the side lol
And I admit I was a bit distracted
Point being, if you’ve got some wit, you can do quite a bit (or it’s a crap ton of luck lol) at whatever speed… and people do survive high speed stuff

 count me in

And first gear

Y’all don’t use it enough! Haha

No fair :stuck_out_tongue: haha

Interesting convos :flushed:

I understend, you came in when nobodys here :male_detective:

Lol it’s fairly slow going as it is :flushed:

Actually, brakes are probably your least worst bet as you get to at least slightly lower the impact speed.

Except your avarage Joe doesn’t know that, they wrench the wheel and roll. With rolling it’s not even the impact that will kill you, it’s the forces from rolling, they’ll rip you apart. Same way a crocodile kills with the death roll, it’s the forces that kill you, not the bite or the teeth.

Lift-off oversteer is what catches people out, especially in FWD cars (which is what most people drive), they go into a bend, get scared and lift off, then don’t know how to correct for it when the tail inevitably steps out.

This is why I think that everyone should have even the most basic knowledge of physics. People just don’t think about these things (at least from what I’ve seen here), and worse still, people don’t know their cars (which I personally consider a cardinal sin).

This is also why I prefer big saloons and not some shitbox Polo or Fiesta. A big saloon will also be better, they hold the road better, there’s more metal all around, they’re more stable and more forgiving to shrper movements.

Set off in second or third actually. You need the expereince though, most people here won’t be able to do it. When it rarely snows here it’s a joke, everyone’s crashing on 30mm of snow. Meanwhile my dad is fine…and he’s usually driving on summer tyres that are past the 60% mark of their lifespan (because who’s going to buy expensive winter tyres for 2 days of light snow). lol

It’s a phone, it only has 1 purpose. I’m not a retard to actually use it for anything other than calls. Hell, I don’t even use it to text. I text through my laptop. Actually, that was a lie, I use it for music on peasant transport.

Your life has just taken a very weird turn. You’ve been thrown into some kind of gladiator scenario, but the only weapons on offer are the 3 basic forms of cutlery. A table spoon, a fork and a blunt butter knife. What’s your weapon of choice?

  • Tablespoon
  • Fork
  • Blunt butter knife

@anna834, it seems you’ve brought a knife to a fork fight. :joy:

I expected that you mean a fork to eat, not the one to feet in the barn.
And I have a grindstone, so my knife isn’t blunt anymore. :smiling_imp:
But of course, it seems I have to make friends with some of the fork people. :grimacing:

Edit
Asked my boss. She would also choose the knife.
Farmer knowledge :joy:

Nothing like stabbing an eye out with a fork though. :joy:

I do. It’s a surprisingly versatile instrument. I prefer the approach of bending it around my fist with the ‘teeth’ pointing out.

You all watch too much movies. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

aye, between a blunt butter knife and a fork, I’d take the fork every time. More stabbing power. And you could get the other persons weapon (assuming its another form of cutlery) stuck between the tongs and force it outta their grip. Actually was just reading a book last night and the main character was in a similar situation and ended up choosing the fork to force his combatants away.

Actually its an old school Eastern European tactic used by school kids in fights, at least it used to be when my dad was in school.

I would like to say a spoon just so my opponent thinks I’m crazy… but a fork can cause some real damage because it’s like three mini knives.

I’ve been watching a lot of laptop reviews recently, because we’re at the time of the year when new releases are coming. One thing I notice almost all of them doing is spending an unusual amount of time on the speakers. I didn’t think anyone actually cared about laptop speakers, because they’re all terrible.

But what if it’s just me that doesn’t use my laptop’s speakers and this stuff actually matters to people? So, laptop users, two questions.

  1. When you have the chance, do you use your laptop speakers or do you use something else (external speakers, headphones, etc…)?
  • Laptop speakers
  • External speakers and/or headphones
  • Other (post below)

  1. Do you care about the sound quality of laptop speakers?
  • Yes, I need the best possible speakers
  • No, I only use them when I have no option
