Linkin Park Facts and Trivia

Meteora Tour edition has 4 videos. Deluxe edition has additional songs from LPU tour.

I was caught in the act and now I cant escape this :stuck_out_tongue:
I have many editions of MTM and I didn’t wish to type it again and again. So I copy pasted it a few times and hit “Reply” in the process.

Hahaha ok :stuck_out_tongue:

You guys have a lot of stuff though, nice!

Just wait till you see my Megadeth and Cradle of Filth’s collection. Evil Laugh
Honestly, it’s actually a pain to carry all the stuff when you move places. Also, as I have written earlier, now I know that having multiple copies of the same album is not a good idea. I have ripped most of my CDs and I carry them in an external HD. The CDs get a permanent place somewhere else. It’s much easier and convenient.

This, people, I believe is the definition of obsession. What is the purpose of having multiple copies of the same thing? It’s almost like buying two cars that are identical in everything but colour.

It is a pain to have a lot. I actually don’t see the point in having the same album in different versions (besides the “special” edition one that usually comes with a live DVD or documentary of some sort). I already buy everything twice (some thrice) and I’m not counting digital albums (like remixes, instrumentals and all that) and it’s a mess. Too much is hard to organize and keep for me. I’m fine with just the studio albums.

Exactly. I bet you guys don’t even listen to them, they’re probably gathering dust somewhere in a box or attic/basement/ garage.

Nah, I may not listen to (or watch) them but I am proudly displaying them in my room.

Why did you count digital stuff? CD=Compact Disc

Well, if you don’t do it, how will you justify the word “Overdo” to the next generation?

@xTirea

If I want to listen LP, I’m listening to these CDs - so you’re wrong. But I haven’t listened some LP for months, lol

If I would count digital stuff, I should add some DSPs etc

Not sure if it counts as a fact but did you know that Brad played the trumpet? And that Rob flies helicopters?

Just found this when looking for songs for the Best of 2015 thing. Sound familiar?

What’s stage light? If it’s a band then who ripped off who?

No, it’s a program that Linkin Park released in 2012. They released a version that included a ton of samples of unused songs and a few instrumental demos. There’s a sample of Grudgematch and from what I’ve seen, no one else has noticed that

So only one of the demos is LP and the rest are other bands? Or are they all LP?

All in a certain folder were Linkin Park in their version of the program, and all of them in that video are from Linkin Park, along with 5 other more complete demos

I’ll give the whole thing a listen at some point then.

The video I posted isn’t too interesting to be honest. Some cool beats, nothing special. These are the names of the more complete demos:

  • Bruiser
  • Space Station
  • LP Jam 01
  • LP Jam 02
  • Complimentary
