OT: Another day done at work, I was alone today, it was a bit tough cause it got busy at times. I was also late (just 5min) this morning for the first time ever in my life (I’m not joking, I’m never late) and I was so stressed about it. Transport is horrible at the moment here in London so I think I will be walking from tomorrow I don’t want any other surprises.

My Friday at work was slow. I wasn’t expecting my co-worker to take a half day, so I ended up having to paint a floor. Although, he didn’t leave me much paint to work with, so I did a half-ass job.
I’m relaxing with the windows open for the rest of my night (of course I say that, and my next door neighbors decide to let their grandkids run around their yard), and I’ll be killing some pizza very shortly.

This island is swamping with tourists now. They say 70000. As I controlled the few sheep with lambs this morning, I drove through the next small town. They seem pressing each other already.
I actually can’t get it. I’ve avoided that much people even before and now… happy to finally have an excuse.
Also a lot of walkers, stopping and talking. They also tend to come too close. I say nothing, just position myself, that the wind is with me.
Yes we have to wear gloves when food packing and after 2 hours my hands are drenched in sweat and wrinkled like I’ve been bathing I do have leather gloves but they are for winter (lined) so imagine they’ll get too hot but I might just go with them rather than those plastic gloves. We don’t have to wear masks at the moment at least. Hope you get used to them.
This sounds like you actually miss the lockdown! And yes nobody was social distancing at the shops today literally I couldn’t move for people standing so close to me because they just don’t care anymore.

Day-60: Has it really been 2 months or am I miscalculating? I’m certain my brain has started to slow down, it’s thinking ‘hey, you’re in doors so there’s not as much danger I need to watch for, I’m going on a holiday’. I’m kind of cheating and wearing just one glove now. My excuse is that I can’t use the iPad with a glove one, messes up the screen. Masks yeah I guess, I take it off whenever I can, it’s not like people care anyway.
I don’t, I’m glad I’m back at work. But I love complaining about it too, I have a love-hate relationship with it

Today was a hot, humid day, so I just took my bike out after dinner before the sun set. This is shaping up to be a great weather weekend. There’s a risk for some thunderstorms next week.
