Morning everyone. Enjoying some coffee at home before I head in to work for a few hours for yet another conference call.
I spoke with my parents briefly yesterday, said we’ll talk more today after my grandma’s funeral. I also went to my cousin’s house last night to hang out for a bit, it was good! We talked a lot about our grandma and our memories with her.
My classes at uni haven’t been officially cancelled. Tomorrow’s one is and will be done online instead, the rest will go ahead as planned. We’ve decided not to show up in class though. We’ll see what happens.

I got officials notice from the college . The exams are cancelled. Thing is if they keep it later i got ny classes too and i don’t want both of them to clash. Or else lot of things will be taught in 6hr class everyday I’ll miss it…

OT: It was a beatiful day, because it was very warm and sunny. So I enjoyed some hours in the sun, but the city of Kassel is a little bit empty. I don’t know when I saw that emptiness the last time

I’m back from work. What a day it’s been! I came back from the bank early afternoon and had to evacuate the building due to a fire alarm. The fire department came and checked everything. I swear people are so stupid, they were refusing to leave, like what the hell? What if something was actually going on?
Also, after hearing Boris’ new “measures” we have yet another emergency meeting tomorrow morning to go ahead with a plan my manager just texted me he talked through with the director. That means I need to go in again on my day off. Should be interesting.
Spoke with my parents as well, Greece is officially on lockdown from Wednesday. My mum had someone infected at her office so everyone is on quarantine for 15 days. It is getting crazy!

Hope Monday is treating you well and your weekend was great!
I was basically a hermit all weekend and stayed indoors. Yesterday consisted of mostly Disney Movies… because well I’m a child at heart
So an update on my family friend, while yes he has cancer… it’s not as horrible as they predicted at first, at first they thought it was basically pancreatic cancer which has a very very low survival rate, I can’t remember the type he has but it is operable so he will be finding that out soon it sounds like.

I do have another update for everyone as well… That Graphic Design job I had an interview for… they’ve decided to not hire anyone as of right now, makes me wonder if its because of this whole virus thing going on, so as of right now my lovely co-workers are stuck with my ass oh no poor them!!

Positive vibes to everyone!
Here, we have to stay at home and we can go out just for getting food, medicine or if we can’t work at home for 15 days at least (and it begins tomorrow at 12am). Our president said we are in war with the virus.
People went so crazy today because they knew that this kind of decision will come, so they all went to the supermarket for buying a lot of food, some people went on their house in the countryside to avoid their little appartment in Paris or the suburban of Paris.
I worked at work today because didn’t have the right to work at home yet. They finally decided that we will work from home tomorrow. But they want to stop recruiting for the next weeks, so i’m not sure to have a lot to do. We’ll see.
I’m happy i took a day off next friday so i’ll can play Animal crossing on switch. I didn’t take it for animal crossing but it’s a good opportunity at the end.

This is my life for the next (at least) four weeks.
It’s weird being in a building during what would have been a normal school day, but with absolutely no kids.
As of right now, only twelve-month employees + secretaries are the only ones that have to work. Today (but mostly tomorrow), they were letting parents in one at a time as my mom (the elementary receptionist) had to escort them to their kids’ lockers, classroom, whatever.
Starting tomorrow, at our building and one other school in the district, for one hour, we will be providing grab-and-go lunches for all students that want them.
My co-worker said it this morning. Right now we are in uncharted territory. And it’s weird as hell.
I will do. Trying to take photos is a pain, (he is very fussy with the camera; he’ll go like I don’t want my photo taken or into a full on cat idol and he doesn’t mind).
