Me too… well Daniel can play a bit of guitar and bass, key words being a bit. That’s why he got Richard Z Kruspe to be on Gods and Gold for the guitar. Maybe when he does another Imperfect show (eventually), he can add more instruments to the mix.
Its a good thing I have the knowledge lol

For the most part the kids are back. Some parents are opting to keep their kids completely virtual, but otherwise the students are here every other day on a rotating schedule.

The reason I’m being called in so early is to disinfect every door handle, railing, bathroom fixture, etc.

We’re doing the same here in our schools and universities. You’re overtime hours are really insane Andy. Stay positive and so cute pics of thurman. By the way: do you gonna get some extra money?

Pretty much. I hate the idea of working on a weekend (always do) but when it shows up and I’m actually working I really do enjoy it.

Yes there are some popular bands from that era still producing that sound, but I think the sound has had it’s peak in terms of popularity. That can always change of course, who knows.

So for ‘Nu Metal’ they’re are got a ‘new summer’ and Nu Metal is a thing in 2020 for many younger listeners with bands From Ashes to New, While She sleeps, kinda Bring me the Horizon, A7X (they’re still making it) or Ice Nine Kills. But it’s kinda different and the new genre is even more like ‘Metalcore’
Also some of the old nu metal bands are still on the top like KoRn, SlipKnot, Deftones, Papa Roach, Disturbed and sometimes P.O.D
It’s always the question: which band did you discovered for the first time, that you’re liking now?

Actually, speaking of music, it’s Bandcamp Friday today. If you don’t know what Bandcamp is, it’s a music service that whatever you pay, artists will get 80 - 85% of the money. The remainder goes to Bandcamp’s Revenue share etc. It’s a good service. Bandcamp Friday happens every first Friday of each month for the rest of this year in which artists get ALL of the donations… every single penny. Yes, definitely give it a listen and let me know what you think. Don’t get me wrong, my favourite album of theirs is Koi No Yokan but this new one is just way too good! I’m about to listen to Thurston Moore’s (Sonic Youth) new album right now. Nothing like the Deftones but damn interesting.

OT: Today was one of the quietest days ever at work, I must say I enjoyed it. Just need to get through this weekend and then we’re back to normal.
I’m having another coffee at home right now, getting ready to put on a couple of new vinyls to listen to and relax as much as possible.

She always was a grand dame, had furniture going through generation. Even so it was her retirement place, it’s still like I known it all my life.
The decision is, that it will stay that way, till after the funeral.
It’s five days now, I’m all alone here. Besides long walks in the woods, I do not really anything. Feeling exhausted. Yesterday evening, I fell asleep with my clothes still on. That normally never happens.
Sometimes I scold myself, perfect time, to get some writing done. There is a lot to do, when I will publish my second book on my own.
But then again, I just drift of, listening to music, knit a little.

There I am again, after not being here for a long time. A lot has happened in the meantime and I had to withdraw from everything. It was just too much for me. Too much shit was going on and I couldn’t take it in my head anymore. Good moments and then bad times again. It went back and forth and back and forth and back and forth.

I also had to learn a lot for my exams. I am happy to say that I passed, so that is very nice.

I also became an uncle again. My sister-in-law gave birth last week. The little one is doing well and I am very happy, despite the situation that I can hold her. I am already in love with my little niece.

The corona measures in the Netherlands have become stricter again. We are in the 2nd wave. Now we are obliged to wear mouth masks. Many people are of course against that, so it sucks.

Hey All! happy Saturday!

Up early again because apparently I can’t sleep… sleeps for the weak anyways right?
Currently 4:30 A.m. as I start typing. Just got into work only need to work 4-5 hours today so on the bright side… I’ll be done by 8-9:30 today.

On a side note: Tonight some friends invited us over for supper/concert party?
We typically go to concerts with them and Corey Taylor announced a Live Stream Concert that if you buy can watch the whole weekend. So we decided to “go to” a concert together. Definitely looking forward to it
