The day we booked for All Points East is the Friday Kim Gordon, Iggy Pop and Kraftwerk are playing.
Don’t remember how much I paid for Dan’s vinyl, something like £30 with shipping. I haven’t listened to it yet though.

It seems like everytime i go out on weekend, i get sick then. 
I’ve stomach aches now and try to get it better for next days. So i decided to stay at home next weekend!!!

Had my 1st therapy session today. Won’t have another until January bc the doc is booked next week, then has the following 2 weeks off. She wanted to know the typical crap:
History (medical, high school, etc), why was i there. She didn’t even know what the PEs were… after all the commercials the have on tv for meds and she doesn’t know? Idk if I should keep seeing her. She was shocked I even graduated college, esp in my field. She didn’t understand why I can’t walk far. This doc is a moron.
I have a confession I wanna tell but def not telling her and don’t feel comfy putting it online… fuck!

I don’t know why getting older means the music will change to something softer though? It’s clear a lot of emotional pain still existed for Chester and being older doesn’t mean you’re any happier sadly… Also, Chester loved rock particularly the heavier stuff and Mike loves rock and rap - so what was going on with OML? It had a lot of external input to the lyrics and overall production/sound so felt less like LP and more generic / mainstream.
I always respected Chester’s passion and the way he fought for what he thought was right. I think he wanted people to love the album, anyone who’s created something with their best friends would. I would have been exactly the same (because I share a lot of his traits). Even though most of the aggression is actually self-directed when you stop and analyse it.

Totally agree,also love that.my #1 is minutes to midnight,i think it’s with its experimental,unique,(ok every song from lp is unique 
), different songs soo well made and so beautiful and truly shows their talent,(also the other albuns do,but that one the most to me),so it’s my favourite. The way you describe her,she doesn’t seem super professional or the best for you. Maybe she couldn’t find a way to fit to you,but will do next time you see her?(maybe bc she had a weird day or something?) Idk if she’s worth making a second chance,bc she sounds kind of bad for you… try to sleep one night over it and if you are tomorrow a 100 percent sure you don’t wanna see her again and feel bad about just the thought visiting her again,don’t do it and believe in your feelings. But i think it can take its time to find a good therapist, don’t lose hope! sending you strength:heart:

Agree,i think everyone of the band was very proud of the album,wich is natural and good of course when you created something with putting so much emotion and time and important thoughts in it. So it’s natural that Chester wanted others to love it and that he talked much about it to open the view for others on the album .

I’d explain it like this: the society demands more and more maturity from you as you grow older. The so-called maturity (among other traits) includes moderating (if not even hiding) your emotions or mental states. As a result, you try to fit in (to meet the expectations/not to make your family&friends worried). So you say I’m fusing my broken armour although in fact you had never any armour at all.
@HakManLP an your post above is probably the longest post ever :). I’m fine and looking forward to your new edition of old-school LP pics. (Oh my God, forgot to check Chester the Molester. But I promise I will).

@zanybelle, I don’t mind the randomness but if it bothers others… then we can start a LP thread. Maybe we can do a vote? Also, loved red checked style. As for OML, I think the band just had a lot going on in their lives. Plus with them inviting others, those ‘outsiders’ writing for alot of mainstream… I think that’s why there was such the drastic sound. 
@Linkineli, yea… maybe she had a weird day. I think I’ll give her 1 or 2 more sessions max. I did see a behavioral therapist over the summer and really like her but my insurance only covers 6 sessions. 
@drounzer, those pix are very nice looking… even though I’m infatuated with Mikey more, lol.

Good morning family countdown on 9 days… today afternoon I drive to IKEA to test the armchairs I’ve chosen to buy… hope they are comfortable and it’s announced to become 14*C until Sunday… these are good news for me - hope you all are well and for everybody struggling or feeling sad or alone: be aware we are all here and have your back! Minutes to Midnight is my #3 and I’m also love the “grown up” Linkin Park since day 1 - I like the mix on the album between 'heavy old school Nu Metal" and ‘new alternative Rock’ - 13 songs (with No roads left as a bonus) + 2 special version of What I’ve done and Given up. I’ve got 4 songs tattooed from Minutes to midnight album: Given up, what I’ve done, Bleed it out and No more sorrow Of course I love more than this 4 from this album - sure, the whole album with LOATR, Shadow of the Day, HHH and even more

Yeah, I really love to get into the songs, lyrics and the meaning - so for some situations this song or that song can help me, give me some good feelings, freaking me out and even more. Sometimes I wrote about my own thoughts about songs and lyrics, not only about Linkin Park but also about all my other beloved and favorite bands/songs - If i couldn’t understand the lyrics or the meaning, it would be something missing to love this song 100%.

Good Morning all! Happy Wednesday!
Glad to hear it got better by the end! Trying to stay warm but it seems to be getting colder and colder as the week goes on! Currently its -2°F (I think that’s roughly -19°C) 
Just going to get more warm coffee (maybe hot chocolate later) and find a way to stay warm
