General Movies & Series Discussion

I’m rewatching the Dark Knight trilogy, with only Rises left to watch now. I’ve never seen them in this order since The Dark Knight was my first film. I noticed that this one is less about Batman and more about the surrounding characters and of course the Joker. This is great because it expands the world and makes it even more realistic.

I’m about 16 years late to the party, but I just started watching Lost. I’m only two episodes in, so not sure what to make of it yet, but I can say this: the sountrack is kind of psychotic. lol

Oh man i got bored after a season or so. Became to confusing…lol

Prison Break, now that is a show worth keeping. I started with the last episode of season 1, then watched it from the start and then went in proper order.

Even the show Afterlife on Netflix is very good. Also just finished watching Picard.

The soundtrack is like a character on its own!!

That’s what I’ve been warned about. I want to see just how bad it gets. lol

I know right, great stuff by Zimmer. It’s a bit simplistic at times, but it conveys the characters and themes very well

I’m curious what you think.
Thoughts about watching it a few times.
But I tend to watch a show till the bitter end. And there are a lot really bad critiques out.

I tend to stay away from reviews and opinions until I’ve watched something. Started season 2 yesterday and it has already taken a weird turn. Season 1 didn’t go anywhere which annoys me, it was a lot of filler disguised as build-up to something.

Yes same here. I avoid all reviews and all of the hype before every movie. In most cases when people say it’s rubbish i end up enjoying it and vice versa.

Prepare to become extremely annoyed if you keep watching. You’ll be livid by the end.

I’m on s2/e19. It’s still going nowhere. Also, the hobbit should have stayed dead :joy:. He was annoying from the start and has grown increasingly more so with every episode.

You failed to specify the end of what. Just finished s2 and I’m fairly hacked off already.

The end end

I’m the opposite. :joy: I read and watch everything I can find on a movie, even the whole story, before I make my decision to watch it.
It’s the same with books, I often read the ending first.
Ok, there were movies, it was good to not know the end, like “Matrix” or “the 6th sence”.
But normally, I prefer knowing.
Just watched

I really liked that movie.
And I already knew the story, had listened to the soundtrack. Yeah, I like “shallow” and enjoyed Bradley Cooper and Lady Gagas performance.
Have also watched some making off before, seen them on the Oscars and watched the Lady Gaga movie, even so I don’t listen to her music at all.
And I’m quite sure, I would be real mad at the movie, if I would’ve been surprised by the ending.

Oh, not sure if it’s still on my watch list. Or if I already have, and forgot about it, cause I didn’t like it. :grimacing: :joy:
