Chaos was following me everywhere today. I nearly set fire to a farmer’s crop field in front of the CEO of a robotics company, the CEO being a pretty awesome guy found it funny and wanted to film it. 
We were at the farm for a project I was doing with my society in uni. The whole project was a shambles, our final outcome was shite because all of the workshops and facilities are closed outside of term time and my team weren’t great. I was responsible for the entire electrical system and it worked just fine, but the MEs let the side down. Anyway, the fire was nearly caused when one of the crappy motors got so hot that it started billowing smoke like a smoke grenade. It didn’t actually catch fire because I caught it in time. The project was meant to be an inter-society competiton, we won by default because everyone else dropped out.
Then later in the day we had a drone explode in mid air. It was actually the airframe that my friend used as his dissertation. So in short, myself and another friend blew up our friend’s dissertation.
Thankfully we submitted our dissertations ages ago so we didn’t screw him over. We don’t know what happened for sure, but we’re confident of our theory that there was an internal fatigue crack in one of the props (it blew up as it was hovering in place). That lets go, takes out the GPS antenna, GPS antenna then takes out another prop, the air frame at this point is falling out of the sky like a meteorite, on impact it breaks an arm, smashes another prop and digs the one remaining one 5cm into the ground. The blast radius of the shrapnel and debris was some 7m.

A friend of mine from school (which is a new transfer here) is goddamn hilarious. Despite being shy, that guy’s being pretty gud. 
While the class is on a session of identifying the parts and function of the microscope, so I asked him what’s the function of the mirror under the microscope.
So he says, “This mirror is used to see a monkey, you see a monkey here?” while he adjusts the mirror and makes me to see it.
How dumb of me, it took 3 seconds to get the joke. 
He’s just new and shy but he showed off some hilarious gimmick.
