I didn’t mean that haha. I meant like how with THP him playing wasn’t forced. He hadn’t liked the guitars ever since ATS and with THP he found his lost love for it again. He missed playing the riffs and the solos and the not so sampled sounds… Dunno how to explain it really :confused: And yes, I know about the effects and everything lol

It’s not worrying, it just adds variety when the others write too and not just contribute to the process… but they trust Mike, they always had so yeah, it’s not like a bad thing he’s the leader and the person they go to when a “problem” occurs.

Ah I gotcha now lol. Id love to see more of the harmonic/lead lines in verses like Forgotten and Pushing Me Away on this album. Really loved that stuff!

Very random thought, but if each Linkin Park member was in Mortal Kombat X, what would their fighting styles and X rays be like?!? :open_mouth:

Their next minigame should be a little 2D fighting game like that, using sounds from their respective instruments and vocals (Chester, Mike) to kick ass. Meanwhile a song from them plays in the background, and depending on who you’re playing as, if you fill your special meter up, you can activate and “tap into” part of the song where the band member you’re playing as has a big part. (Brad would be guitar solos and heavy riffs, Mike’s raps, Chester’s screams, Rob’s drums, etc)

Done correctly and it would be cool. Maybe Hahn in the background of the match doing the lights haha

Wow, maybe Phoenix should sing a few vocals similar to this performance right here. Especially the “hum-di-laleeda-heeey” parts would be a magnificant addition to any given song. They could call it “Dave’s hum-di-ladeeda-heey”

Watching LPTV stuff is always a good way to pass the time and have a good laugh :smiley: This particulair vid of Dave singing was quite adorable actually. They’ve all grown so much, it’s great :blush:

Oooooh! Here’s an idea: what if, for their new album, they all dropped their instruments and sang everything a-capella instead? :stuck_out_tongue:

I CANNOT WAIT FOR THIS LP7!! I would love to hear songs similar in style to Meteora and HT tracks, and also more MTM-type songs. Or just another ATS, but better. :smile:
ATS was amazing…I will definitely be keeping an eye out for the first LP7 single, and any new LPTVs!

Linkin Park does their little mini games every now and then. It would be cool to see my idea come to life, as posted above.

And about Linkin Park and Sony… Nothing. Both are great entities in my life. Sony announced that Final Fantasy 7 is getting a complete REMAKE, my Chicago Blackhawks won the Stanley Cup, and Linkin Park is currently writing new material. Life just started shining again.

Ah. I’m a sucker for games myself :smile: The only game I’ve played made by Linkin Park was the one they released on Facebook. I thought it was pretty neat.

Sony is cool. I’m more of an Xbox type :smile:

My ultimate game would be an open world game with Sims 3 meets Fallout meets Dragon Age meets World Of Warcraft. And then having the ability to make a character however you please. AND then of course have Linkin Park, Papa Roach, Eminem and the likes do the soundtrack. That would be totally wicked.

Fallout meets Dragon Age? Sir that’s called Elder Scrolls. And then when that meets WoW, it becomes Elder Scrolls Online, WHICH NOW EXISTS! Hey! Who would’ve thought…
