This is the field at the Rec Center next to the school I work at.
This is a field that is literally older than me (and probably my parents, too). You may have also noticed the trucks that are parked in the far corner by the trees.
Thanks to COVID-19, the plan right now (to avoid any congestion) is to have this field paved (I’m unsure if it’s the entire field, or a portion of it), so that parents can enter the parking lot behind the Rec Center, drive through alongside the school, to pick up any kids that are not riding home on the school bus. This is just one of many headaches everybody’s been forced to deal with with just about three weeks to go until school opens.
