When and where?

Damn, good luck with that. I never understood this major / minor system you guys have over there. I’m doing a masters in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (I’m still technially a year away from the masters year, but that’s the type of course).

Thanks. Here in order to major in a subject you need to receive a certain amount of credit hours from courses related to the major. The minor is the same thing except with less credit hours.

The architecture program at my university is 5 years, so I still have a while to go. However after that the masters program is only 1 additional year. I’m still debating whether it would be worth it to pursue the masters.

I meant I don’t get why you have 2 courses. As for if you want to do a masters, it’s a question of whether you want to go into the field after uni, if so, then go for it. My course is 4 years (or 5 with a placement in industry), I’m also considering a possible PhD afterwards depending on how fed up I am at that point.

It also just occured to me that we have an engineer, an architect, a doctor (@NickGr), a corporate brainwashing specialist (@rickvanmeijel) and a psychologist (@AJ_7) among us. This has the makings of a bad joke. LMAO

There are two courses because architecture and landscape architecture are two separate courses. They are related, but separate.

I’ll see where my career takes me in terms of the Master. I would definitely love to get it, but you never know where life could lead you.

We only have a single course over here, you can’t take more than one at the same time as far as I know.
