Day before yesterday:
The laser from my temp gun, no clue why it looks like that but in person it’s quite beautiful, looks a bit like a galaxy of sorts.
Yesterday:
Took the RC on some fine gravel and dust, does pretty consistent donuts. I was in for a serious cleaning session after that run.

I can’t find that photo now, but I remember seeing a 47 C on a thermometer in June, 2010
Yup, the temperature can reach extremities of ±50°C in either direction, although the bouts of extreme heat is often interspersed with bursts of coldness, making the temperature able to fluctuate by more than 30°C, even in a day.
