Yayyyy finally I got the timing right! Hahaha actually this time I was delayed but somehow it arrived on time! No problem at all!
Aye thatâs pretty!
Just got a ticket for Red in April. I didnât think theyâd ever come to the UK. Theyâre the one band I said Iâd break my âno more concertsâ rule for. Iâm also really surprised how cheap the ticket was, the total came to just under ÂŁ20.
229 is a sweet venue! Should be a good one.
YES ABSOLUTELY WE HAVE TO!!!

I feel like a grown up today . I managed to help close a sponsorship agreement with a company for some 3D printer filament for our society in uni. A friend whoâs also a committee member had started the email chain, but was swamped with work, so for reasons that are beyond me, our chairman thought it would be a good idea to give the completion of the task to me . Itâs worth noting at this point that I hate formal emails and am known for writing emails that are so direct that they seem flat-out rude LMAO. Iâm still waiting for a response from another company.
My tax return just got approved

Iâd like to take a moment to praise the hiking boots I bought a few weeks ago. Went wading though a very shallow river today. Water level was above my toes and up to the second set of lace eyelets and they didnât let through a single drop of water, my feet were bone dry.
Got the Devotee badge
But Iâm actually certain that I wasnât on a few dark days in November.
Sure wonât complain so.
next Monday
Posting this here instead of my thread, because itâs not really a personal project, and I think more people might be interested in it.
So on Friday a friend that graduated last year (and wasnât an idiot like me to do a masters) dropped by campus for a visit. We were looking for stuff to do in the society lab when the chairman said that we should try hooking up an old and janky PS3 steering wheel and pedal set (for gaming) to the transmitter of an RC car to try and drive around using some FPV (first person view) goggles. So thatâs what we did, we ended up doing laps of the lab and the floor of the tower in which weâre based. 8 or so other members took turns as well, it was great. The basic system wasnât perfect (weâre working on making it better), but thereâs nothing like blasting around the lab on a Friday night at like 19:00 in an RC car.
Anyway, I bought Banshee in yesterday so we can try the system on a good chassis as opposed to the crappy ones we have. Worked a charm (not counting the problems we had from the first run). This time though we took it out of the lab, into the lift, out of the lift, on the ground floor and also outside the tower . Unfortunately we ran out of range outside. A friend drove it down and then I drove it back up. The gifs below are footage of the truck being driven around the tower by one of us sitting at the wheel in the lab.
seems real fun
Whatâs a friend friend?
