Right headphone usually goes off first. Every in-ear not-so-expensive headphones I had had this problem(usually in 9month)

My Sennheiser CX 299 ear buds have a small hole in the wire insulation on the left but are still functional, though the volume balance is a bit off, however I don’t think that’s down to that.

It happened with me too…checking the position in which it worked. Then i took my mom’s earphones cause she never used them.
Now my brother is in same situation. He broke those which he used…they were his favourites. :worried:

(seems like earphone problem has happened with almost everyone :unamused: )

Then the break in the wire must be clean, the most likely place for there to be a break is either where the wire comes out of the jack or where it goes into the buds, the worst thing I see people doing is suddenly yanking their jacks out of their phones by holding the cable and not the jack.

I don’t know why I became paranoid and blurred it; tell you what, over a decade ago, I did a school project which involved me printing out images of banknotes. I was wondering why the pics only printed halfway, remembered my mother saying about what protection against feigned money printing etc.

Well I’m gonna try using in the shop that gave me it as change in the first place, as per the instruction of the shopkeeper who rejected it.
