Rob’s my favorite band member, but I didn’t want to be just another “Mrs. Bourdon” because, let’s face it, there’s no way in hell that will ever happen. So Lady Bourdon it was because it’s sounded much better than “Miss Bourdon.” And I’ve always wanted to learn how to drum and be a drummer so I attached that to Lady Bourdon, but then that was too long to say/type. So thus, DLB was born, and I’ve been DLB ever since I joined LPU since 6.0.
my name became the requiem beats when i heard the requiem for the second time in my life. after i listened to ATS all the way through, i always skipped the requiem when it came on my ipod. then one day i just re listened to it. i was just walking outside in the pouring down rain. while listening to the song i sort of forgot that i was in real life. then the part at the beginning of the song when there are the BASS BEATS behind the band going ooooooh oooooooh. i was freaking out. there was nobody around and i was just standing there in the rain, ALONE, but it felt like i was being like drained of my blood or something (i felt very weak). then when the lyrics started i felt like i was sleeping. it was almost paranormal. when the song ended i had my eyes closed and then i shook my head a little bit and said out loud(to nobody) “whoa did you see that”. and so a started referring to my weird tired/weak states as “theREQUIEMbeats” and that’s how i got my name. a similar thing happened to me when i listened to the catalyst one time, but that’s a different story[wink] linkin park does some weird things to me. thats why i joined LPU[biggrin]
Pokemon red version only has space for 7 letters, and my name was longer than that.
I tried to shorten it and then I lumped two x’s on the end to indicate that it was longer than that, and also because x was a letter that wasn’t used enough already. 10-year-old logic.
