Not really. I sometimes chose the direct reply to a person (under his/her post) and as a result received a general reply to the thread.

EDIT: even now. I wanted to respond to your last post. While I was writing, I saw your (@the_termin8r) nick and profile pic under the writing box. After I finished, I found it was a general reply.

One thing came to my mind. I need to test it. Maybe it happens when I try to talk to the same person time after time…

It’s always worked for me before the migration, but now I’m getting it too. Maybe it doesn’t show it if you’re replying to the post directly before yours.
