I ate lentil lasagna for the first time today, it was ok but I’m not sure I’ll eat it again.

That sounds vile :S

It wasn’t THAT bad but I’m not sure I liked it. At least I ate something :stuck_out_tongue:

OMG!! I looooooove latkes!!

Yes! That’s my meal no. 1

They’re difficult to make, though. It’s so important to wring the water out of the potatoes, but it takes soooo much work. It final product is delicious, though. Man…now I’m considering making some for the holidays. I’m not Jewish, but growing up, we’d always celebrate Hanukkah with a friend of mine and their mom made perfect latkes. Do you eat them with applesauce, too? I always thought that was strange. I just like mine with salt and sometimes sour cream.

My dad make perfect latkes with garlic (i know some maople make them with onion) and eat them with sugar syrup which is weird for me :stuck_out_tongue: I like latkes without any additives and really first time I hear about applesauce (?)

Are they anything like hash browns?

Latkes are more of in one piece, unlike hashbrown which are broken up.
