The reason I’m asking her this is because when she is back home in Germany, she often drives to another country instead of taking a flight (eg: she drove all the way to Barcelona, and she also drove all the way to the the London memorial)

… I guess it was the good bye party from my parents when they left Germany to live in Italy when I flew from Memmingen to Weeze in Germany- 13 years back . but yeah- alone it’s cheaper to go by plane - but in two it already gets too expensive to fly…
