sending my condolences to the band and chesters friends, family and fans. LINKIN PARK’s music has helped me through some hard times and I seen them live when they did the A THOUSAND SUNS tour and one of my fondest memories is of chesting screaming and banging on drums during one of the songs. I was really looking forward to seeing them play with Blink 182. This is all so upsetting. Condolences to everyone whose lives Chester has touched whether it be via music, memories or otherwise.

When I saw the news story my heart broke. Chester is loved by us all and our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends. He will live on through us all and his music. I had the privilege of seeing him 2 weeks ago and whilst heartbroken I am thankful for his words. RIP Chester

I’m honestly lost for words, Chester’s the voice of a generation, and responsible for making me a fan of music.
I guess all I can say is thank you for all the memories and the music, will NEVER stop loving LP.

@spellingmistake told me the news. I am shocked, and dont have words to express the sorrow. It is a sad moment. But as they say, dont cry because it is over, be happy that it happened. RIP Chester.

I cannot believe it. I have re read over and over the news articles and I am so unbelievably sad and distraught that Chester chose to take his life. So many of us loved him but that wasn’t enough. I hope he has found freedom from his demons which clearly were haunting him and we didn’t know. R.I.P Chester!! We miss you!!
