I actually considered joining when I received Hybrid Theory. Although…
- I was only 13 at the time
- We had literally just installed our first computer with Internet access in the house. We were brand new to using e-mail.
- Because of that, my mom claimed that “the Internet is full of bad people” and thought the LPU wasn’t a safe place for me.
Had I known then what I know about it now, though…

Did anybody else purchase Chester’s Rock Sound Icon commemorative issue?
It also came with a nifty calendar with different bands for each month. January was Paramore.
Rather than watch the Super Bowl, I spent the better part of my night listening to the band that has February, and now I can’t stop listening to Against The Current.
