In general, but eating as well. I can’t have gluten for example. I’m not saying I’m not paying attention or whatever but it’s not something I stress about a lot, if that makes sense.
Some of us simply don’t care what we eat, along with other things as well, since we’re all going to die one day anyway. It’s true that you are supposed to take care of your body, but there are things in life that can make you not want to do so. Stress is a big one for many people. Not to mention depression, among other things. We reach the point to where we just don’t really see the point anymore, so we stop caring as much about taking care of ourselves.
That’s not a very good outlook on life Chief
And you choose to just not care?
Why care about something meaningless? I don’t much care about life at this point either, I’ve got nothing to really care about. Hopefully that changes one day, but as it stands, I could get hit by a bus tomorrow and I wouldn’t care.
And what are you calling meaningless?
Life, as a whole, the concept just makes no sense to me.
Lol. Well this took a dark turn real quick. I was just talking about having a good diet.
This has been my view on it for a while.
Oh, LOL. I can understand caring about that. I just don’t have the discipline.
True. I can see your point. Sometimes it seems meaningless considering how short it is. Also depends on your view of what’s after death I guess. I think the best thing is to just try and find our own meaning and purpose for living while we’re here.
Well, I was in this exact boat. Starting to care about what I eat actually helped me immensely. It allowed me to take control over my life and value my being for a change. Improving what I eat provided energy to focus, helped me feel happier and more comfortable with who I am. It’s not about being perfect and always doing the right thing, it’s really about taking care of yourself because you are important!
And you are important! Also, we all care so stay away from buses! I feel you need a good sleep routine firstmost. Chemically, a lack of sleep and poor nutrition affects your mood and energy levels. Even small changes can improve your outlook and lift your mood.
It’s not something to stress over for sure, I agree with @evooba there, but from my experience it can improve your well-being and happiness so why not try it?
Nah, it’s not a matter of feeling like I’m not important. I’ve never had suicidal tendencies or thoughts. I just feel that the grind is for nothing.
I wouldn’t say life is always as interesting as we want it to be (or expect it to be), mostly it is boring because it’s repetitive whatever way you look at it. I don’t care who you are, it’s the same for us all. But I think what keeps me intrigued is the new possibilities and discoveries and how the world keeps changing and adapts. Look at our current year for example. It’s probably observationally addictive for me. I just want to stay alive for space travel, and get off this darn rock someday! (Don’t tell me it won’t happen, you’ll spoil my delusions).
I just love how we have now reached this pinnacle of human greatness where every conceivable reply can be formed in a form of a simple meme.
Those who know how to wield this power of sarcastic comebacks are now kings and those who fail to grasp its meaning can be henceforth be named as peasants…
The wording you chose here is incredible
