In Greece it’s the same, legal age is 18 but even 12 year olds can buy alcohol cause no one freaking checks ID. So irresponsible and stupid! They’ve asked for ID here in the UK more times than they ever did back home.

I think because it’s so profitable. Just think about the enormous industry and brands that sell alcohol. It’s also a cultural thing of course, for example muslims don’t drink. The worldwide persecution of natural drugs is mainly a money issue I think. Imagine if people would turn to natural and free plants to cure themselves instead of using the prescribed drugs. It’d be the end of the pharma industry, and they will not have that.

Marijuana can be used as a painkiller. It can’t cure disease. And it is already used by the medical industry as a pain killer. The main issue with it is people using it recreationally which, at least in the US, is slowly being legalized.

Besides marijuana there are many plants that have beneficial effects on the body (and mind) and are definitely being used to cure diseases.

You were talking about the beneficial effects of plants on the body and mind which is usually the belief of someone who practices anti-vaccination.
The medical industry does use plants to cure diseases. That how they make the medicine. Plants alone are usually ineffective or much less effective than actual medicine in curing diseases.

Do you enjoy custom modifying and / or upgrading your possessions yourself? Said possession can be anything from a shirt, to a PC, to a car or anything else. The key thing is that it has to be you doing it, taking it somewhere to be modified by someone doesn’t count.

Well it depends on the item and the kind of modification…but yeah, if it’s doable why not? 
Like I said, it can be anything. I’ve gone as far as to modify my slippers in the past.

Genarally when I buy something I’d like to use it immediately - not wait til it’s modified.
If I modify something - it means it must be old and useless/or not really attractive if unmodified.

I can’t remember exactly what it was but I think I cut ‘cooling vents’ in them as they were roasting my feet in a very specific spot. I also drew a custom design on them as they were white.
What’s wrong with modifying something that’s getting old to the point where it will destroy it’s current equivalent and for less money? Also, why not do it for fun?
