Geographically, Bulgaria is great, we’ve got all kinds of stuff (mountains, beaches, caves, historic fortresses, rivers made of boulders bigger than men, and all that kind of stuff), all really close to each other because it’s a tiny country. In every other respect, it’s pretty much rubbish. Haven’t been back since my family moved to the UK over 16 years ago.

Heeeeeey  California isn’t even a country and we’ve got the same :relieved::grin:
There’s beautiful beaches and there’s super cold places like Truckee ca where you can freeze your fingers off to frostbite :relieved::crazy_face:

have faith in your country! Portugal has the same problem (politics and stuff) :joy:

:scream: SWEEEEET!!! A cable car ride is always fun to get a quick overview  pier 39, uhhh sunset is awesome on the west side of the Golden Gate Bridge (lands End is what it’s called I think), uhhhh there’s…”interesting” places like Castro street :joy: but don’t go there :joy: umm… the venues are all cool  there’s too much to do for a weekend :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes: wherever he goes it’ll be fun :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes: depends on why he likes… like… laid back would be the golden gate park to visit the conservatory or the couple museums or the cathedrals nearby… more touristy would be the piers or going up to catch the view of the city from Coit tower :face_with_monocle:
Adventurous would be going hiking up on the headlands or mount Tamalpais
He’ll have an awesome time whatever he does :grin:

Not happening, Eastern Europe is where the civilised world finishes.

Thank you very much for your tips :grin::grin:

I need to go to the main land. I’ve only been to Saint Michael.

That island is very very beautiful! All the islands of Açores are very beautiful, full of nature and flowers
But the mainland is very beautiful too! You can’t miss Lisboa, Porto and Coimbra! Modern cities full of history and culture  Or you can follow the advice of Good Morning America and travel through the National Road 2 (Estrada Nacional 2) and see Portugal from south to north

Disgusting

Still haven’t tried lobster, but its on the list.

Lobster is very overrated.

Yet its still edible by all means :joy:

I’m not saying it isn’t, just not good value for money. It’s a lot of faff for not much food.

Agreed
Eat shrimp and you’ve eaten lobster

Since when is it the same? I’ve already had at least 5 or so different kinds of shrimp.

Not shrimp, closer to quality prawns. Lobster has a similar taste, it’s a little stronger and the texture is a little different (if cooked properly), but nothing too different.

It depends on what. I have a really weird taste in some foods.

I was just going through my task manager when I spotted chrome eating a whole GB of RAM. So I was wondering which browser people used (PC / Laptop only, no phones or tablets) and how much RAM it typically uses.
