There was a comment on Youtube Wich said “Linkin Park has never tried to keep people happy, they make people happy with every new and different album they put out”

I just loved that comment. And its pretty right , Who knows how many people, children /adults /teens with really serious health or life problems feel this song like a medicine and a good breath point. Probably that is the purpose of the song and the whole album after all. Obviously, It does not work on everyone. And those negative comments are the proof :joy:

People still love Hybrid Theory and Meteroa not the new Album singles I don’t know why, they said that heavy is too much pop than rock and i’m like I don’t give a “F” they can be poppy or rocky I don’t really care I will still love them that what a real fan would do and say I think but you know every one have opinions supposedly. P.S I love to rock n roll but now I just love to Pop n roll I guess.

All of rude comment is on Youtube about heavy it very sad. And I hate it.

This is where you need to draw a line:

  1. Everyone is a fan if they feel like a fan.
  2. There are no “real” or “fake” fans. We are all equal.
  3. Not loving every single song they put out is ok, you can still be their fan.
  4. Not agreeing with everything they say and do is ok too, you are still their fan.
  5. Recognising the good and the bad makes you a fan, too!
  6. Be true to yourself and don’t be forced to like something just because it’s them. It’s ok to say you don’t like it.
  7. It’s ok for other people to do so as well.
  8. Just because they went pop or whatever, it doesn’t mean you suddenly have to love that genre.

This argument again? Time to mute this thread again…

You have a point, I mean there are some people on YouTube who have logical and rational reasons against these songs that I could partially agree with, but I think she’s mostly referring to the majority of the haters who can’t even come up with proper arguments and just bash the song and the entire album all together, just cause it’s pop or cause it isn’t nu-metal. It’s really hard to consider those types of people as fans when they mindlessly hate on everything the band does that isn’t Hybrid Theory or Meteroa

Yeah, Im not loving Pop in general by this song, the genre has a good and bad side too.

My little sister does listen to stuff like Ariana Grande, Melanie Martinez, Marina and the diamonds, Shawn Mendes, Ed Sheeran etc… So I have to hear all of that bunch almost everyday and Im getting unwittingly used lol

That’s why I think this song is from that little percent of cool stuff in pop music compared to some of new artist’s stuff. Is something you can relate to Coldplay, One Republic, Fall Out Boy and that little bunch of good alt pop/rock :relaxed:

YouTube comments are terrible regardless of the topic. They’re unmoderated, unintelligent, and the commentators don’t care if what they say has any truth to it. You could probably find a video about someone saving a dog from a fire and still find someone complaining in the comments about something

Youtube comments are a cancer, where only the thickest of idiots and 12 year olds go to hash out their bitch slap fights.

People feel more brave to throw non sense sh*t on YouTube comments thinking they are right.

So when you give logic arguments of why they are wrong, they say “Lol I won’t read that…good luck fanboy” like the stupid cowards they are :sunglasses:

@_ferny thank you that’s what i’m talking about because people on You Tube be like oh they made this song I’m not going to listen to them one more or be like they are sell out even though they are not. [quote=“the_termin8r, post:2868, topic:13703, full:true”]

For me, the most hilarious are the ones saying "Where’s the band? I can’t hear Joe’s scratches, drums or Mike’s rapping,… This is Chester with a computer " I dunno, those are gold lately lol

They like HT and Meteora, cool. I don’t understand why they can’t bash about all their pop stuff and we can, what makes them different?

i remember one of their comments when they said “so where is Linkin Park anyway” or do you want know what they called Linkin park.

I think that makes them feel outcasted. They call to each other old school metal heads to themselves compared to new stuff. They just can’t tolerate it…God, this still being music with feelings, message and solid thoughts after all…They just can’t recognize good stuff from banal on today’s music. Easy like that

This is so much better than the original!
