I don’t really want to listen to the leak. I listened to a snippet, but I’m going to wait for the band… do you think it’s possibly intentional for them to leak this song? The album version may be slightly different, and the leak may’ve been intentional to add hype (not like they need any more, just a thought). And as for Spotify I haven’t seen it on there, they usually don’t add music until it’s authentic I guess.

Although it feels fresh, I think they stayed under their limits musically. They mentioned a lot that the new process of writing resulted into a much more personal way of creating their music, especally the lyrics, but I can also understand the people who are disapointed, cause after such a long time, they expected instrumetals which are very challenging like ATS had.

Yeah, in the “risks” video Mike said it could be a rare sound with a weird chords progression (Wich I was interesed to listen) or the poppiest thing , I don’t know why he said both if they did chose the less exciting tbh

My opinion on Battle Symphony:
[spoiler]I like it, it’s poppy and catchy. Does it have the “LP sound” to it? No. A lot of musicians could pull something like this off very easy, but having Chester’s vocals makes it nice. I probably won’t skip it when it comes in rotation when listening to LP.[/spoiler]

It’s not an official single, meaning it probably won’t have a music video, teasers, radio play, etc. But it is a promotional single, which serves mainly to just increase awareness of the new album. Songs in the past have been released in a similar manner such as Wretches and Kings for ATS and Lies Greed Misery for LT. I think it’ll also be available only to those who preorder, from what I’ve heard, but I could be wrong.

That’s what I was afraid of, this song deserves more to be an album single than Heavy.

I’ve only listened to it twice now, but I think I like Heavy more, and personally think it’s a better single choice
