Aunt Funny had transformed back into her younger version and was sitting with the old medicine man in the old medicine man’s house in Japan. She was sad. Sad because of how things have gotten out of hand with the voodoo doll. And now her grandchild and his friends had turned into cats! Aunty Funny was becoming desperate.
“Hiro, I don’t know how to fix this.” she said with sadness.
Old Hiro the medicine man was searching through all his books, desperately looking for a solution. That’s when he found a scroll with a red ribbon tied around it. He didn’t remember ever seeing the scroll before, the paper of the scroll looked quite new. Curious, he untied the ribbon, opened the scroll and slowly read what was written on it.
“Funny! This could be it!” he shouted with enthusiasm.
“What?!” Funny asked.
She rushed over to Hiro the old medicine man and read began to read the scroll in his hands. But to her, the writing seemed gibberish. It made no sense to her. She frowned and looked at the old medicine man.
“It is an ancient spell. When performed correctly, it can bring things back to the way they were before you ever even gave the voodoo doll to Mike. Funny, I believe this could fix it. Trust me, we must try this and then we go find your grandson and his friends.” Hiro the old medicine man said.
For the spell to work, Aunt Funny and Hiro would have to go outside into the forest. There, they would need to drink a potion and do a special dance and sing the words of the spell and end it with a hug. Aunt Funny felt hopeful and so did the old Hiro. Things couldn’t possibly become worse, so they figured. And so they began dancing and singing "Let mercy come and wash away what I’ve done". Aunt Funny and the old man hugged, both closing their eyes and hoping for the best.
But then suddenly, they fused into one body and now there was…An old man in a skirt standing in the forest.
