I guess it’s better to leave a link. Phone browsers, well… aren’t that good for loading stuff
So try searching the 2018 section on jamesjean.com

So, I just noticed the back panel of my S7 starting to come apart from the phone on one side slightly. No idea how it’s been there. At first I thought the adhesive strip was letting go, but then it dawned on me that it might be the battery puffing. So I pulled the panel off (it came of surprisingly easily), thankfully the battery looked fine (and it has been behaving normally too). So I just superglued it back on (and not that well either). :joy:

This thing still works just fine, so I’m going to keep using it, despite the back looking like crap now (I couldn’t peel off all the crappy foil stuff to just leave it clear with a view of the inside unfortunately) and the panel not being glued on perfectly straight. It’s definitely lost all the water resistance it had, but I’m not getting a new one if it still works. I should probably back up my stuff though (despite most of it being on the SD).

I’d take a picture, but I don’t want to faff about with other phones.

Speaking of mobile tech … I’m looking forward to replace the battery of my iPad
(Old dad’s IPad Air 1 (2015), he bought himself a newer one and I took the older. It proved to be great for histological classes during self-preparations as it has large screen and fits better than a textbook or a lap on a table which is also taken by two or even three not so small guys, a box of hystological glasses and 1-3 microscopes)

I wouldn’t get my hopes up, Crapple have a tendancy to glue in their batteries.

This one is pretty old, one of the best of their releases to be honest. Dunno, the max amount of money I’d get if I sell this one is about 150-160$ which is certainly not enough to buy a new one

I’m not sure anyone would buy an ipad that old.

I still have this one.

I was browsing Samsung’s site the other day (I’m waiting for them to release their PCIe Gen4 SSDs), when I saw that they had released the S20 range (no idea why they didn’t just go to 11). I thought the S10 was a stupid range, the top spec S20 can be had with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage and you can get a 1TB external SD card and bump the total storage to 1.5TB. That’s more than most people’s computers.

Dafuq does anyone need that kind of power in a phone, what are you going to do with it? :joy:

Weird battery behaviour from my phone last night. I was fiddling with some settings, was at about 38% when I put the phone down. The moment I put it down, I see the low battey LED come on, so I wake it back up, only to see 3% battery. It dropped 35% in a matter of seconds. No idea what caused it, but I’ll monitor it.

Had the same f*** thing two times the last two weeks. It was also somewhat over 30% and the next time I checked 3%. Thought that the battery already started to break down.

Might be an OS bug. My phone is nearly 4 years old and I still get 1.5 - 2 days out of it in max performance mode.

Just happend again

Have you updated recently? I doubt it’s your battery if it’s happening to both of us at the same time. I’ve had battery curve issues in the past with this phone and they typically clear away in a couple of days (the longest I’ve had is about a week).

EDIT:

Although, I have to say, your battery only lasted about 6h before it dropped to about 75% which is odd since my curve typically reads in hours over a day.
