Hey guys!

The people selected to attend the M&G in Skive have finally been picked - I sure hope all 37 participants were chosen, so no one will feel left out!

Who’s going? How many from Sjælland? Fyn? Jylland? Bornholm? Other? Have you been to a M&G before? What are you bringing to get signed? Ready to rock the H out of Jylland?

It’s my first M&G ever, since I’ve only been a LPU member for four months or so, so I am pretty nervous, but I hope the guys are as chill as people say they are. :wink: I’m bringing my ATS album to get signed, since it’s my favorite.

Skive Festival - We’re coming for you!!

PS. Why is Skive so far away from Copenhagen? If you get any further away you’re almost in international waters. :wink:

I once attended a concert with a band called 100 Monkeys - don’t know if you’ve heard of them? After their concert in Lille Vega in Copenhagen, they signed autographs for the fans. I was actually brave enough to compliment the lead singer’s awesome skull ring and I got a hug from one of the other band members too. But they’re not nearly as famous as LP, so it was easier to talk to them in some way. But I will pull it together at the M&G, I have to! :wink:

And have a great time up front, Steve! I wish I could do both, but I’m sure lots and lots of people will be waiting for LP who are not LPU members, but I will get as close as I can and hope for a re-match once LP goes on their promo tour for LIVING THINGS in Europe. :slight_smile:

I am going to the Meet & Greet aswell and its my second time. the first time was back in Germany last year. and year they are all calm :slight_smile:

And just because you said it, I am actually around 2m tall so, its easy for me to watch the concert from a higher perspective :slight_smile:

Not fair! :wink: I am somewhat tall, 1,75, but there are always males present just in front of me who are taller. :wink:

I hope we can get as close to the stage as possible once the M&G ends. Since we’re only 36 people, we might finish sooner than if we were 75 people. :slight_smile:

However I need some HELP, my friend just cancelled so I’m all alone, and I was wondering if I could meet up with someone so I won’t get lost?

My friend just cancelled too. So I am driving all the way from Greve in Sjælland all alone. So maybe we could hang out a little in Skive. But I don’t know the city. Never been there before.
But like I said. I’m all by myself too. So maybe we could meet up?
More people=more exciting day :wink:

Took a flight to Oslo, boat from Oslo to Fredrikshavn and then drove to Skive! :> A long trip, but totally worth the time!
I’m by the way extremely nervous myself. Not fond of speaking english either, but you got to do what you got to do, lol.

Wow! Long trip! It takes about 16 hours getting from Copenhagen to Oslo with the boat, so I’m guessing it took, like, 12 hours by boat to Frederikshavn? So you are there now already? I’m arriving at 12pm tomorrow.

If you want to hang out with the rest of us before the M&G, feel free to speak Norwegian. Some of us do not understand Norwegian, just because we’re Danish :wink:
But I guess I would understand a little bit Norwegian, if I have to :slight_smile:
Do we hang out in Skive, us from the LPU? Why haven’t I heard about that?

Yeah I honestly doubt you’ll understand the type of norwegian i speak, and there’s no way I’m able to understand danish, hahaha. So english it is, lol!

I can´t believe that i finaly gonna meet the boys, sinces it is my all time favorit band :slight_smile:

  • I bring a T-shirt for signing (most because it is easy to put in a bag after)

I going from Århus with a friend, but she not gonna meet the band :frowning:
, so I think it is cool, if we can meet before the M&G?

This concert is gonna be the 3th :slight_smile: (skive (2008), Herning (2010), skive (2012))

There were talks about perhaps meeting, I don’t know, like an hour or something like that at the place the M&G will take place at, before we do the M&G, so all of us LPU members can chat and get to know each other. I guess it all depends on how easy it is to actually find a good spot at the Festival. I’ll be wearing my LPU 11 t-shirt, so I’m not that hard to miss. :wink:

I’m bringing my ATS CD, and MTM for backup if it’s not possible to get autographs on the ATS CD, as it’s not a jewel case like MTM. I have an old LP t-shirt from their concert in Forum back in 2007, but the CD’s takes up less space in my bag. :wink:

I know exactly how you feel about meeting the boys! I’ve been a fan for 9 years, since 9th grade and now it’s finally happening! One thing is standing at GA during the concert and get as close as you can to the stage, but it’s a whole other thing actually having the opportunity to greet them, shake their hands, talk to them, ask them a question and get an answer back - it’s amazing! :smiley:
