Yeah lets make sure we meet up, my daughter and I will be getting a hotel for friday night for sure, if some nice events come out for thursday, then we will be there for both days. Cant wait, still in shock, a fan since 1999 and finally get to meet LP and get some autographs on an old hybrid theory shirt and a hybrid theory CASSETTE LOL. Going to be sick.

yeah I’m going to the concert…

= ] thats great !! and we are all def meeting up !

Does anyone know what to expect? For example, how long is the event? What are potential things that will be done (I’ve see walk the stage, play instruments, meet the band)?

Luckily I have friends going to the concert also so my wife can likely hitch a ride with them and meet up with me there.

I just managed to get a pass now! Tickets kept randomly coming available for the House of Blues shows in the days after the original on-sale, so I decided to check the Summit page to see if the same thing might happen here, and I totally lucked out! (And at least as of 2-3 minutes ago, Summit passes were still available – so if you see this post and want to go, get in there!)

I’ll also be coming down from NYC, so I might join the NYC Crew if you’ll have me! I’ve got a friend coming with me to the show, but like some others, will be flying solo at the Summit!

Yes me too!!! I decided to check because of what happened with the house of blues show…

Can’t wait to meet some east coast LPUers now!!! OMG! Freaking out!!!

Yay!!!

Yep, I just got my ticket about 20 minutes ago! Of course now it says sold out when my husband tries… Hmmm…

For the Chicago summit, it started at 10am, for those who signed up for it, to make t-shirts for Music for Relief. Then at 12pm, doors opened for everyone else. There was an auction and raffle when you walked in, then at 2pm they announced the raffle and auction winners. From there you got to do the activity you signed up for (it was either, walk the stage, backstage tour, or bus tour). Then we got to watch their soundcheck (really awesome), then it was a meet and greet followed by a Q & A. It lasted until they opened the doors for regular ticket holders. And in between all this we got to hang out with other amazing lpu members, met some great people that I still keep in touch with. Amazing experience and I can’t wait for this one!

I’m pretty sure I walked out of the House of Blues show right behind you! There was a girl in front of me, and I was checking out her tattoo – looking at your profile picture now, I’m near positive it was you!

And yes, I’m so psyched for the Summit. I somehow got the on-sale date wrong for the passes – thought it was Sunday morning. So I woke up Saturday morning in my hotel room, still totally buzzing from the HoB show. Then I checked Twitter, and saw the Summit passes had gone on-sale … Talk about a buzz kill! I knew I was so fortunate to be able to fly out to the HoB show, so I didn’t let it get me down too much, but I was a little disappointed. So I’m just so happy right now that it ultimately worked out!

That’s pretty awesome! Which event of the three did you pick and how was it? I’m trying to get an idea of what event I would pick, guessing that they are going to be similar events. For me it’s probably between walking across the stage and backstage tour if the activities are the same.

I chose the backstage tour. Joe ended up being back there when our tour was going through their dressing room so we got to see him and say hi. We also had some spare time so our guide let us walk the stage in the end since we were the last group coming from that tour so we got to do both! We had Maurice as a guide so it was pretty awesome, he was hilarious, and we got to talk to Pooch as well. The other guide, I forget his name, was from Canada too so he talked to me and my friend most of the time since we were the Canadians of the day (what he called us). No matter what you choose, it will be an unforgettable day.

Yeah I cant wait to see the list of things they are going to do the day before and the day of to figure out if I want to take my daughter and me on thursday as well or just friday. As long as we get great pics, and meet and greet, signatures, I will be super fine with it, and meet some great LPU members, cant be a bad time. Cant waitttttttt. Thats awesome some of you got some ticks later.

That’s really cool! Yeah Maurice is awesome, he was at the MSG meet & greet that I went to haha Thanks for sharing your experience and it will definitely be unforgettable no matter what. The Madison Square Garden show that I went to on February 4, 2010 was probably one of the best days of my life and that was without the Summit!

Ill be driving down from NYC with the wife and father in law but if people are meeting before the summit in the Camden area, count us in. Will also be there for the show also.

If any one is coming down from Maine, NH, or Mass and is interested in carpooling shoot me a PM!
