LPU CDs sold out - WTF

OK I know I am sorry it is early and I got up especially for this!!
I apologize NO OFFENCE intended!!
Thanks,
Stanley

It is what it is. You win some, you lose some. I’m sorry you didn’t get a bundle. I wish we had a million of them so we could just sell them to everyone. We don’t. I’m done discussing this. This was as fair as it possible could be. We can never please everyone, but we do try our best.
sory stanley, but adams right, you can NEVER please everyone. if it was a contest, i never would have got one, because i’m just plain unlucky when it comes to contests, but i stayed up for a solid 24 hours to make sure that i didnt miss out. you may have got up early, but i just didnt sleep… you need to stop complaining, as you said there was 90 packages & 8000 people, YOU ARE NOT THE ONLY PERSON TO MISS OUT, and you dont need to act like you are.
sadly, got no bundle :frowning:
but happy to get the old newsletters
thx Adam
Same here. No bundle but newsletters.
Thanks Adam anyway!

CDs wise is ok… I can still wait few more years…
I’m already very happy to be able to m&g with LP already…

read my forum post I suggested A RANDOM COMPETITION where every member who wants one signs up and u randomly select however many u want!!
These members HAVE to pay of course!!
What do u think?
How is that more fair? That’s practically the exact same thing as just putting the CD’s up for sale. You’re either lucky and get it, or unlucky and don’t…

And again, people would complain about that process even more I’m sure.
I honestly think you’re wrong, Adam. A random competition would have been just like the giveaway thing. I mean, I didn’t win January giveaway: have I complained? Has everybody else complained? No. So, why should I have complained if I had not won one of the 90 bundles in stock? Moreover, I’m just pissed off with the fact that old-school members (Talking about members since LPU 1.0) were allowed to take part in purchasing the bundles, since they actually own all those CDs already, and making them able to buy 'em already (And, as shown by an user who posted in this 3d) means giving people who do NOT own them less chances to get a copy.

P.S. Sorry about my bad English, I’m quite pissed off, and I’m Italian.

WOAHHHH…the word of the day is LIMITED, but to be FAIR, EVERYONE…ever-ree-one had the chance to get one of the bundles. Doesn’t matter if your a LPU 1-11 member. If you didn’t get one then that’s life, please do not have a Black Friday-pepper-spray-everyone-in-the-face kind of attitude.

I’m a moderator. No I didn’t get one either, but am I on a rage spree? No. It happens.

Don’t believe me still? Okay, example, I got tickets for the ATS release show 10 mins before they acutally went on sale for the advertised time. If you want the best, you need to be one step ahead of the game.

LPU is a very small community out of all the LP fans. There were a limited number of bundles and thats it.

word

Was a steal at $50! Am a little pissed it was so cheap in the first place. Dedicated fans have spent a lot of time and money collecting these CD’s. I guess there is some satisfaction knowing they had only a few copies by the sound of things.
Hard luck to those who didn’t get in on time - I guess it’s back to doing things the good old hard way of collecting.

I just looked at your collection in your sig… you already have all 4 of those CD’s way to be an ass and buy the bundle so people who need them can’t get them. You’ll probably just sell them on eBay to rip someone off.
I’m buy it =)

CD Pack of 4 Archived Hard to Find LPU Albums
Newsletters + Guitar Picks Bundle

I got the first 4 years of the LPU CD’s with my first 4 year’s packages. /trolling.

Adam and all the staff at LPU should be thanks not demeaned.

The HTEP as a CD is worth around $15.
It’s COLLECTION VALUE is at least $60.
They could very well have charged us this or NOT SOLD THEM AT ALL.

Thanks again Adam and LPUHQ for the sale and all your efforts with LPU

Oh my Gosh! Got LPU CD’s bundle + newsletter bundle. Happy so much!!!

Thank you, LPUHQ!

Guys, that can’t bought that CD’s, please don’t be sad…

HAHAHA seems like StanleyElite is the most angry person at the moment. DUDE, get a life seriously. FIRST COME-FIRST SERVED and you can do nothing about it. BTW the bundle was available ~20 seconds before 11AM. Stop blaming ADAM stop blaming LPU. Imagine how it would look without 1bundle per person? Seriously stop blaming people just because you’re so SLOW with things. Like some said, they even had the time to scroll through the shop page.
Over and out.

edit: Ah btw, it’s not just like only You did not get the chance to get one. There’s 325345 people just like You and I don’t see anyone complaining like You do…
Just chill out.

I don´t understund all that people that was agree when Adam says that was “very limited boundles”. Everyone agree, and now all saying this and that, you knew that exist the possibility of don´t get the boundle or get it for everyone it was just luck, like an ebay auction. I lost very rare LP items on auctios because another one have a “click faster than mine”… is just luck, is awesome that LPU launches this boundle in the store, but we have to know about the possibilities to get it or not.

No offense for anyone who is angry or dissapointed.

I got mine, I live in San Diego…I’m at work and I went to the store at 10:58 a.m. and saw the clickable link for the pack, added it to my cart, entered shipping info, and submitted my order, directly after that I clicked the link again at 11:02 and they were sold out…

craziness

This! Obviously StanleyElite doesn’t know how to get things like that haha.

i also had one im my cart and by the time i entered in my credit card number it was sold out :frowning:

Just crap my phone connection was to slow

I envy those who got them, because i live in Australia i would have to have woken up at 3am Tuesday because of the time difference so i knew i wouldn’t have gotton them, they should’ve had a greater amount of cd bundles so i would be more fair. also in my opinion it would have been cheaper buying the digital copy because last time i checked the postage wasn’t the cheapest :stuck_out_tongue:

I’m in Australia too, but I set my alarm and woke up early just for this. Reading this thread I almost feel bad for saying it, but I was lucky enough to get one.

Honestly, I think this was run as fair as it possibly could have been. Yes time zones and other things make it hard but any other way would have been worse I reckon. I only hope that this anger from people doesn’t deter Adam and the other people who work hard to make stuff like this happen from offering special items in the future.
