OK. I understand that when touring and singing/screaming some of those notes can cause some damage to your voice and you can hurt your voice. I get it…
I was in the fourth row (H) section 101 at the recent Tinley Park, IL show on Aug 24th.
I saw Chester walking off stage with the microphone in his hand, down by his side, while a scream was being done during LIES GREED AND MISERY.
I was so disappointed to see this I sat out the rest of the concert and left before the encore. I’ve never left an LP concert before it was over.
This is a band that I have fought for and supported ever since the very first time hearing Breaking The Habit, which is my all-time favorite song, on the radio. Linkin Park’s lyrics have sincerely changed my life in more positive ways that I can even begin to explain.
How disappointing… My absolute favorite band puts themselves in the same category as Milli Vanilli and Ashley Simpson…
I’m not sure how I will handle this going forward but as for now:
Linkin Park, you have lost a long time and VERY loyal fan. Very sad.
Sincerely,
Ed Simanek
