[insert totally nifty topic here]

Masters is nowhere near as bad as people made it out to be, if anything the final year of my BEng (last year) was probably worse.

I think it’s quite dependant on time management skills and luck of who your profs are. Content/workload wise I agree it’s not too bad. But the constant changing of minds is what gets you.

What do you mean by that?

Not sure if you remember my constant ranting at the time about how my prof kept changing her mind when I was doing my dissertation :joy::joy:

Oh no, my supervisor is nothing like that. I went for the same supervisor again this year as I did last. He just lets me get on with it and doesn’t micromanage me. In fact, he hasn’t explicitly told me to do anything at all, I just pitched my idea, he said it was good and I went about it. This goes for both years. He just cares that I’m on track and if I need him, he’s there.

The dissertation is the least of my concern actually, it’s probably the easiest part of this year. lol

That’s quite the dramatic statement :joy: Good job man!

Reading about your experiences @the_termin8r and @AJ_7, I’m so glad I’m done with school :joy: Good luck you both!

My ‘experience’ is what we call business as usual. This year has been relatively mild in general (compared to what I’m used to, most people are still horrified :joy:).

I guess that’s what a sufficient amount of engineering does to you :joy:

Thanks !

It took me a few months of waiting to finish - couldn’t get the right materials …

Anyway , who’s the fashioned one today? Me

I carry tools around the territory with this case so they won’t lie around on grass, dirt , ant homes , etc…

I’ve done some light jobs - replacing the old twistings with some clamps. Oh and here’s how a light looked before and after the re-assembling

I couldn’t do more than replace a wire and the piss-colored glass (stupid watering systems with rusty water). Oh , and some other components as well

Here’s what a good amount of watering can do in a few years

Please invest in a real toolbox, they’re not that expensive.

Well if only I needed one. I carry tools around when it’s needed - mostly one or two times in a few years. Plus this case would’ve been abandoned and I really like it

If you ask me, that’s prob the best tool box I’ve ever seen. You’ve got me beat. I use a cardboard box :joy:

I use cardboard boxes for small on-going projects.

Lol. I’ll try and remember to get one tonight :joy:
