I finally found a way to send PMs around here. Got really hyped…only to find that the feature was broken…go figure :expressionless:. Don’t know what I was expecting to be honest.

I found the feature under the groups section of the site, tried messaging the mods, it wouldn’t let me send it. Tried sending a message to a bunch of your accounts, again, nothing.

I never got a response from anyone from my email, but I’m pretty sure that wasn’t possible before (broken or not), maybe they’re in the process of reenabling it?

It’s the first time I’m seeing that feaure. I’ve actually had the groups section under surveillacne for over a year now and I’ve seen various features come and go. Always broken and only being there for a day or two. I never posted about it becuase they’d vanish by the time anyone got to them. I feel like that section is a testing ground for the devs or something.

It’s possible that something else was changed that is showing that and it’s completely unrelated, I don’t want to get anyone’s hopes up.

I remember seeing the groups things frequently before being a moderator too, they never seemed to do anything and sometimes clicking them would lead to broken pages. Now I always see them, and for all I know they have no use

I received an email back a bit ago saying that they are working on getting messaging and profile pictures working. I don’t know if this meant they already were attempting prior or have looked into after I emailed them, but regardless it looks like hopefully it won’t be long until that all works
