I don’t know if everyone knows this already and I’m just out of the loop, but in your forum settings under profile you can set what default page you want the forum to open to. I was just going through my settings and saw it. Before this it kept opening to the categories page for me and I had to keep switching to latest, it was annoying for me.

Had to buy a new record player because the one I have now apparently can destroy the records if you play them too many times… Definitely glad I heard about this before I destroyed my records. Also had to buy external speakers for the new turntable. Downside is $200 down the drain… Upside is a better sound system and safety for my vinyl.

Records get worn out over time. In case you (or anyone) doesn’t know a vinyl is just a disc with lots of tiny indents, when the needle runs over them it vibrates at a certain frequency and that generates sound (not directly, there’s some basic electronics too).

Or is it just a bad player with a crude needle?
