How in the HELL did ‘the hill’ (never heard of it!) beat ‘bring me to life’?!?!?
It’s not “the hill”, but “the Kill”. It’s a very popular song by 30STM
I was about to ask if 30STM released a new album or something with a song “The Hill” xD
Ohhhhh, huhuhuhuhu ;D
It’s alright
Done:
Muwhahahahahaha >:3
We can win for Hybrid Theory Day ;-;
Loudwire’s site is broke, pages won’t scroll.
Currently, who is Stone Temple Pilot’s lead singer?
Last I heard they haven’t settled on one yet.
I think they haven’t had a lead in 2016 at all because Chester left in 2015. Do bands go this long without a lead vocalist?
Also, I listened to Korn’s The Serenity Of Suffering. It’s good old Korn in terms of music, but the lyrics felt repetitive. For some reason, I have always liked Korn’s lyrics, but in here I missed that part. Good album though.
I don’t know, I guess it’s long? Then again, isn’t STP an old band that rarely releases music and plays shows?
I have yet to listen to that album.
Yes, they are an old band. But think of it, with just 1 album in last 15 years, and no lead, won’t the band die? SoaD have had no album in the past decade (and they released 2 in 2005). Such a situation arising from bands which have produced an album almost every 2-3 years should be sign of concern. At the moment, they are not Pink Floyd who can release an album after 20years and still make crowd go mad.
But then, whatever floats their boats.
Probably yeah. I don’t know much about STP so I can’t really tell.
Me neither, I just know that the guy before Chester was a big deal apparently.
Here’s an interesting read: http://teamrock.com/feature/2016-10-23/linkin-parks-mike-shinoda-the-10-albums-that-changed-my-life
I knew about a few of these already from an interview he’d done years ago (I’m almost 100% sure they just copied that interview which was done around the MTM era so the ATS part is new) but what struck me is that he wants the band to be remembered for A Thousand Suns. That’s huge in my opinion, I consider it a masterpiece and their best work yet but I never thought they (well, Mike in this case) would ever consider it, since HT is really what defined them. Bloody insane! Wow!
So, Mike is off to Canada (Vancouver to be exact)
and I’m pretty sure it has to do with this:
New art? Maybe? (This was on Mike’s twitter so I just made the connection).
(cough) I can’t be the only one who read his name as James Dean…
Isn’t he the guy that did the LPU15 art?
The original artwork of THP was also based on James’ work. And I think, you meant LPU14, not 15.
Also, this picture seems to be a good cover for Living Things Remixed album
