I actually watched some of it last night, too.
It’s funny, whenever I want to relive a song or a moment from that show, rather than look up the individual performance, I always come back to that video and pick it out of there.

Yeah, I do the same…I wanted to watch the performance of the civil twilights and I ended up watching it from the beginning.
I think that the first part is the most painful one…Mike’s broken voice is like a knife.
I’ve seen the link on Youtube but I can’t help avoiding it.
I was there that night, and I went into it with absolutely no expectations. The atmosphere at the start of their set was a little eerie, but as the show pressed on, and all the special guests that showed up, it turned into more of a celebration of the legacy Chester helped create.
I applaud Mike for filling the role of the front man so (seemingly) effortlessly for upwards of three hours.

Mike was AMAZING. I have no words to describe him. I mean…cmon. Who would be able to do the same in that circumstances?.

I’ve met them a few times at other shows (they signed my back, it’s part of my tattoo now). The night before the show, they did rehearse a handful of songs. I know a few people that had booked hotel rooms closer to the Bowl than I did, and they were able to hear some of the rehearsals. There were fans also standing outside the entrance, and after rehearsals were done, the guys went to greet and hang out with them.

This is beautiful…it sounds so strange… knowing someone that actually was there…wow. I’m really happy for you!
It’s like when you go to a concert of the band you love for the first time, and you see them with your own eyes. It’s like “wow, they’re real, they’re here!”
It happened to me last year in september to one of Mike shows…it was my second concert ever. I’ve never had the chance to see LP live. And seeing Mike there in front of me, watching him in the eyes, hearing his voice…was…wow. I was, and I am, speechless.

Tuesday and the week goes along with 20*C springtime weather

Hope you al have a wonderful tuesday. I’m going to get dressed and relax a bit (enjoy the positivity) and after that I’m going out for a walk since it is also Spring weather here in the Netherlands

The weather is crazy, that’s for sure. It’s pretty amazing here in London and there are snow storms and stuff in Greece. Should be the other way around… yes @theearlywalker, thanks for asking. All is well back home.
I’ll try and enjoy the weather today and get some things done. I do need to go pick up a vinyl from the post office too!
Also, good news, I received a confirmation email today from home office, I can stay in the UK for the next 5 years
