What phone do you have now? You don’t need the latest phone. My mum still uses an S3m, though her one is pretty much brand new as she does almost nothing with it, she just uses it as a phone.
On a different note, I’ll be doing the RAM tests later today, but first I’m reinstalling my Steam library yet again. For reasons I can’t fathom out, once you install a game it won’t appear in the Steam folder in the start menu unless you tick a box before the install. I didn’t see the box when I did all of the games. So if I want to launch a game now, I have to open Steam, go digging in some menus and launch from there. I don’t want to do that, so I’m uninstalling and reinstalling everything today.
Time for some more Crapple bashing I think. Yesterday I was helping out at freshers’ faiyre in uni where all the societies and clubs advertise themselves and recruit members (our society is starting a monopoly of sorts and we’re a threat to other societies ). Anyway, we were using my friend’s Mac for signups (until it ran out of battery and we swapped in my laptop), we had at least 30 people (of the 150 that signed up) asking where the hell the @ key was. It’s funny how Crapple adverties their intuitive interfaces and ease of use, yet people struggle to find something as simple as the @ key and have to ask someone else where it is.
Meanwile, there was not one complaint about my laptop, I even got someone saying it was a really nice laptop. Nobody even noticed that I had limited the CPU to 1% and that the whole thing was running in potato mode to make the battery last as long as possible.
