Oh, then I don’t think it’s avalivle on Linux
But… I remember seeing Autocad on macOS. It has the same core as Linux so MAYBE it’s avalible

It’s not…you have to run one of those parallels to work autocad packages on Mac
Damn dude, that total bs… don’t know what input to give
Work through anything that comes to mind, if someone’s capable of getting something to work-it’s you
Well, I was following a video on how to fix it, was getting error after error and looking up those errors yielded articles that open with sentences such as
“One error which strikes fear into the hearts of IT professionals”
Situation: TARFU
If you have your files saved on your own ssd can’t you wipe out and start with a fresh install?
I can, but getting some of the bootlegged software back will be a faff lol. And I can’t remember all the programs I had. I’m coming this much closer to sticking my old boot drive back in.
4.5h and I have gotten nowhere, I can’t even boot into safe mode.
EDIT:
I’m more fucked than I thought, tried sticking my old SSD in, wasn’t recognised. I’m guessing it might be something to do with the BIOS. This looks like it’s heading for another factory reset.
EDIT 2:
It has now been about 9.5h that I’ve been on this, the situation looks grim. I still haven’t found a fix, but I have managed to find a way to see every single file on both drives using nothing but command prompt. That means that I can at the very least make a list of all the software I’ll need to reinstall when I inevitably do a factory reset.
It also turns out that I only have one piece of bootlegged software that I should be able to get off of the stock SSD when I plug it in over USB with an enclosure. But for now I’m going to sleep and will pick this up later today
Donno what to say here neither!
Stay strong and you can do this or you get through sounds a little lame.
Maybe go out an yell with the foxes for a moment.
Probably also not funny right now.
Sorry to hear that man, that really sounds ridiculous. Seems the tech horror never ends for you. Maybe you’ll find a way to restore something today
I don’t get why this keeps happening to me. I’m going to continue the fight in a bit…
It’s been 1.5h and I just got done digging around in command prompt. I’m going to have to reinstall 69 programs and 31 games, so 100 pieces of software in total. FML
Sounds like you get your hands full today, anyway good luck with it
How is it going?
So…umm…I’m now on the next step up from “beyond completely and utterly fucked.” I don’t even know what this step is called.
I have 2 solutions left. Boot in through a USB and do a clean install. Or buy a brand new SSD. Obviously I’m not doing the latter.
Good luck - keep us updated
Further into the abyss I descend, I went to download the bootable media creation tool from microsoft, even that shit is fucked. It keeps cropping up with the same error which everyone seems to be getting after the last time the tool was updated. I’ve now resorted to looking for 3rd party tools. This is getting beyond fucking stupid.
Still reading your misery
A little out of words here
This is by far the worst problem I’ve had yet.
Yeah. Totally fucked up
When I finally get this shit sorted i’m going to put together a list of all the problems I’ve had with W10 since it came out. Most of it will be stuff that’s been logged on the forums, but also things I’ve experenced that I haven’t posted about.
I NEED to get this sorted before uni starts in 8 days. I’ve technically got a laptop right now (Lazarus), but it’s a potato.
Hope you get it done.
Can’t really say more, keep up ranting and do a little swearing.
I’m listening.
