Firefox is pretty great but with add-ons on it takes a little bit too much of RAM(this guy is old and doesn’t have much)

It does… It saves all mine…

I agree with all other tho…

I used it long back… rn all chrome on mobile.

You don’t have to use the add-ons right? For me Chrome took more RAM than Firefox

I’ve disabled the “speed-up” setting in Chrome and now it seems to be working just fine
Also i’ve found out that the prob is in JS. It has an option called “strict mode” - enables automatically once the server has a newer version of Java, can’t be disabled and doesn’t support Safari 9.1.2 ( but does the newer versions). Another issue is that there’s no separate file updater of Safari officially - only within the OS… and this one won’t handle it. Plus local connection is so low that it’d take a few enternites (spell?) to download. Maybe i’ll try Firefox out too - Chrome doesn’t save my passwords for some reason - tf

There should be a key in the right of the search bar whenever you come across a password field. Click it to open the options.

Please tell me I’m not the only one who sees the unintentional irony and total stupidity of this video.

Donno.
But explain to me, why I exactly have watched this.
I hate explanation video with soothing voices And elevator music!
I have nothing of this gear.

Because you clicked on it. :joy:

It’s ironic and stupid because this is the guy’s mobile laptop setup, yet he essentially takes his entire desk with him. Why the hell are you bringing a stand, extra screen and extra keyboard? It’s a bloody laptop for a reason. I can understand the mouse (trackpads are infuriating to use) and the headphones. But the other rubbish? Really?

My phone screen starts a little flaring.
Like with the laptop when the graphic card shuts down.
It’s not bat jet. But do you think it’s a beginning of an end?
Should I start to look for a new phone?
It’s an nearly 3,5 years old Samsung Galaxy S5 mini and I have no clue with what I would want to replace it.

If you’re looking for another Samsung, I csn recommend the S7 (regular, not edge), you can pick them up fairly cheaply on Amazon. It’s not the newest phone, but still perfectly good. It’s got more RAM than most current iPhones, has a headphone jack and a micro SD slot that can go upto 200GB.

Have to bash the i even when it’s unnecessary :expressionless::unamused: lol

I have a special hatred reserved for mobile Apple devices, I’ve had to deal with them way too many times in the past. There’s 3 of them in my house!

I liked this already back then. Just not the not changeable battery.
I thought on baying at rebuy.
Are you satisfied with the camera?

The S7 camera is pretty damn good. Shoots video at 4K/30 as well, or 2K/60 as well as other resolutions and frame rates.

Aaaah too much to handle :stuck_out_tongue:

The flickering screen is probably a bad/worn solder on the cable  bad quality  jk

? I take the cable of, it still flickers.

I just looked, even just this used phones cost more than this one new had.
I want to use this, till it’s really broke. But when it happens when I’m at work, I could be for weeks without a phone

Ah no, I meant the soldier on the inside of the phone that connects the screen to the board itself :grimacing:
I only said it because iPhones have ribbon cables instead of solders that make it easier to replace

Though if the rest of the phone is good, maybe a repair could be better than replacing
Screen replacement is much cheaper than any phone nowadays :expressionless:

Not here. It’s around 170 Euro in the little street repair shops and this is an old phone

Considering that the S7 was £600-700 new and that most phones are a minimum of 900 these days, I consider 300 to be fairly cheap for a good phone.
