Extra Chicago Pit Ticket?

Anyone have an extra Chicago Pit Ticket available? Would love to take my Girlfriend to her first Linkin Park show and I already have my PIT ticket. Please message me or comment if you do!!!

Hope you get one!

I accidentally flagged you as inappropriate… Didn’t mean to! Thanks though!

Can anyone verify the Chicago Show Start Time? I’ve seen 3:00pm in a couple of places but I’m also seeing TBA. 3:00pm seems early for just a few bands unless there is something bigger planned.

It a gonna be the Q101 Picnic before the carnivores tour begins. From what I’m gathering bands will be on the sub stage until AFI starts then the main stage will open at their start times. No interference is expected as far as time crunch is concerned either.

All show times I’ve seen for Chicago which is on Aug 29th, not the 24th, is at 3PM.

It’s a music festival hosted by the local radio station called PIQNIQ. It’s the only show on the whole tour with the show starting at 3. I keep hearing the DJs say “more bands will be announced” every day for the last couple of weeks. There will be more bands & yes there will be a sub stage in the parking lot but also some opening acts on the main stage. That’s why there is a early start time! I’m not looking forward to this day. First Midwest bank doesn’t open their lots until about an hour before doors so it’s going to be interesting to see how efficient it all works out.

So does that mean AFI will be on the substage and not the main stage or will they open the main stage?

Does any one know if the “more bands” is managed by the Carnivores Tour or WKQX – I would love to see Halestorm. Not really a country fan but I heard Lzzy Hale rocked it out last night on the CMT Awards. I wish this could be a forum for the underground to give a voice of other bands they would like to see could go on before AFI

Anyone know anything new on this? Just curious. I am driving up from St. Louis and a kind of nervous about this big of a venue. I didn’t know what I was getting myself into, lol! Also how do you get into the “lottery” for the meet and greets? Or is that just something for Europe? First timer here can you tell? I have seen them in concert before but I have never gotten this involved. That was back in Hybrid Theory days, wow! So long ago! Any way any insight as to what the set up is like, when and where to park, time to arrive would be great. Thanks!

This venue is really strict about allowing people to line up as in it doesn’t! I was there 2 years ago for lp & then Friday for fall out boy. Whatever time the lot opens is when you can go in which is about one hour before doors.

With all the bands playing I’m nervous about the mad dash to the barricade as well. I’m taking my 14 year old son to his first LP show & I want to give him the best experience! It’s lie riding a roller coaster for the first time. He has to ride the first one!

Hopefully LPU gets priority for early entry!

Hope that answers your questions! Message me or find me on twitter @irenekrygowski!

Thank you Irene! I messaged you!

Are u still looking for a pit ticket? If so let me know. Thanks!

Hey Guys, I just got 2 pit tickets for chicago show for my girl and I, but we are from St. Louis and I have no idea how to get to the venue. I would like to know if anyone would be able to give us a ride that day?

Thanks!

Tomii,

Are you looking for a ride from St. Louis or just a ride to the venue? You could take the train up, stay in a local hotel near Tinley. We are staying at the Hilton Garden Inn, and then we are driving to the venue day of but already have a full car load. But there will be local transportation if you stay close enough. The hard part will be getting it out unless you leave early which you probably won’t. So if you do take a cab be prepared to wait a bit after the concert to get back. Or make friends with someone local who make be able to give you a ride back. If we didn’t already have a full car I would be happy to offer. Good luck!

Hi Mel.
I already have my megabus tickets, and I have 2 hotel reservations (Hyatt Regency McCormick Place & Congress Plaza Hotel ) I guess I’m not too far away from the bus station (like a subway ride). However, I have no idea how to get to the venue with local transportation and I’m afraid that a cab would be very expensive, like $80 go and back. Do you know of someone that could be able to help us? Otherwise, I guess I will have to take a taxi.
And thanks for the help!

Yeah a cab would be very expensive! I would put some feelers out on the Facebook event page. You could call ththe venue 708 614-1616 and see what they say. Go to Chicago’s CTA website and see if you can map out the public transportation. I don’t live there and have never stayed in the Tinley Park area, but I have stayed in Dowtown Chicago so I do know a little about it. I just mapquested it and it’s almost 30 miles so yeah a cab will be expensive. You still have time to change your reservation if you want. Stay near the venue then you don’t have to worry about it. I can understand the want to stay in Chicago but honestly at least the day/night of the concert I would stay in Tinley Park. Less stress on you! Chicago traffic can be a bitch to navigate especially on a Friday afternoon.
But if you def want to stay dtwn then get the word out on FB, Twitter, IG and what ever else you may have to see if someone can help. But please be safe about it.
Oh and I just looked at public bus transit and would take you about 2hrs that route, but how would you get back after the concert? Most of those don’t run that late. You are worring me now. Lol!

Anyone signing up for the LPU Meetup lounges?
