Can you drop me please? It stops me from getting double notifications and I read all posts in this thread anyway.
Cool, I’ll check out your website soon again! It’s been some time since my last visit
Yep i thought of you only when i first wrote that. I’ll remove it thanks
Thanks! A lil changes, and now only writings are there.
I see, it’s really good looking! Much more organised. I’ve subscribed to your newsletter too
Thank you!!
My recent ones. I didn’t posted them here since a while…
Wait
When you sit in the park and wait for someone, a friend, relative or just anyone special, the little time feels long, those five minutes become fifty when there’s nothing to do, no song… no birds chirping no trees waving, feels alone as it’s only us alive, or there’s something else going in our mind… is my waiting so much for that person worth? Or the time which equates money, I am wasting all of it like a sweet honey, pouring slowly down the big jar? Like it comes down slowly because of gravity but in large amount because of density? Oof even this wait is so funny… brings so many thoughts in mind, but in the end we decide it’s all fine we’d wait a little more for the person to come…
Solo
I’ve seen the low times
I’ve dealt with my chains
I’ve struggled alive
Trying to break them again
But everything I do
They just get more tightened
Bleeding cracks in my skin
Making scars and bruises
I am solo warrior
Trying to make things fine
If I try to seek help they say
Everything will be okay
But I never saw a sign
Of everything being aligned
I try to catch freedom
But it just gets away
I feel solo
The only one in the game
It’s one on one fight
I’ll show them again
Even if I am alone
It doesn’t matter in reign
I will fight and fail
But never accept mayhem
These two are based on my artwork. I just thought of writing poem based on it… i think I’ll make more like these from my previous arts
Lemons
“Lemons lemons”
A boy called out
Watching them while
On a new route
On the trees they seem
Yellow and green
Like traffic lights
But sour within
Couldn’t pluck them from tree
As it was high for above
“Lemons lemons”
A boy called out
A Floral Lady
A floral lady
In green dress, too pretty
In green hat, too witty
Counting flowers till fitty
As she walked by garden
Towards home to cook sardines
Phoned the warden
“I am coming home in 10 mins
If Tony comes tell him to wait
Mamma is on the way
To feed him snack for the day”
“Yes mam” replied the warden
Tony, her son, reached home
Asked warden about his mom
“I will wait till mom comes” he replied
Till then he’d watch TV inside
The floral lady met accident on the way
The sardines remained uncooked throughout the day…

A Floral Lady is just so sad. Why such a tragic ending?
Life is sometimes unpredictable things happen… we have to deal with it. Think positive… the floral lady healed soon in the hospital maybe… and the sardines maybe were cooked one day if not that day…
I am happy you felt the emotion in the poem…ig that was the aim. Thank you
Thank you for sharing this, my dear
I especially like
I love how it turns from the frustration, oof, to the lighter, happy mood
Yeah true, I immediately thought of a fatal accident too
You’re welcome!
Thanks dear i waited 2 hrs for a friend and i wrote it that time…
It’s very normal to think that way don’t worry you ain’t the only one. Humans tend to think about the worst first rather than thinking of the best possible outcome… it’s just kind kf survival instinct in them? Idk what’s that called haha.
Have a great day!
I guess it’s that, or could be to emotionally prepare for the worst so the news can’t hit you as hard?
Have a great day as well!
Yep! You are right…you got that point
New poem, I wrote few days back
DEAR TEAR (I)
I wish I could cry this pain out
But the tears won’t come around
They question me ‘why should I come?’
I say ‘just do to relieve me
They ask ‘what’s sorrow to thee?’
I got no answers to explain
Just wish water falls with no rain
But it asks again… ‘why me?
When it’s their mistake not thee
You were hurt by them why you cry?
To speak up again why don’t you try?
I reply back ‘dear tear…
I do try to speak back
But my strength is fragile’
Tears say they won’t come
They denied to reduce my pain
They’ll not help me to
Release this anger out again
Now I got just one option
To convert this pain into power
So that I speak for myself
And for my victory I’ll call them again…
DEAR TEAR (II)
After I stand for myself
And I’ve won my fight
I spoke against the critics
With all my might
I stood for what was right
What was good for me
Because I have right to live
With the choices I please
I ask the tears again
‘Oh dear tear I did it…
I’ve spoken against them
Will u come back to me?
To see my victory?’
They replied with a smile
‘Yes I will come
To reduce your anger
And make you calm
To return all your senses
To the state of silence
When you feel peace
And strengthen your resilience
You’ve made it dear
I am proud of that
You’ve turned your sorrow
Into a powerful act
Now I’ll flow from your eyes
Being the tears of happiness

I received an email about these poems and already checked them out! I like how you gradually shifted from negative to positive in part 2. Really nice work Honey
