Chester said I have disease =/

Chester: “Keeps from me getting sick”

I dont have sick Chester

=/

He said he did not want to shake my hand because they did not want to catch disease …

I don’t think you understood it right…

You obviously misunderstood him. The guys rarely shake hands anymore cause they don’t wanna catch the flu from someone or whatever. They’ve said it a bunch of times.

^^ yep. listen her

Don’t take it personally man!

Its all good. They meet alot of fans so they don’t shake hands anymore cause they can’t get sick on tour.

I thought it was just a joke.

When I went for my M&G we were TOLD not to hug (or kiss, obviously) the band members just to make sure they stay healthy and illness free during the tour. Hand shaking is the same sort of thing. It was nothing against you, they just don’t want to risk getting sick and not being able to perform or record for periods of time.

How amusing heh.

Really, like others said, only misunderstanding here, don’t worry !
They’re telling us that we must not hug or kiss the band, to keep them healthy. You know, a simple handshacking is enough to give the cold viruses to someone…and it can scratch a voice for weeks…cancelling shows and deplacements.
Even if YOU know you are okay, you don’t know about others around you, and they just can’t take that chance with the band.

Well, Chester’s comment was a little clumsy. But it’s clear what he was talking about, right? It would be sad, if he gets the flu or something and need to cancel shows, just because he has shaken hands of 200 fans and received some viruses? It’s better, if not

But, as I watched the video, I noticed something else. Many fans have gladly taken pictures. But they did it, when they where just standing direct in front of the band members and they bombarded them with their red lights. That isn’t really a polite behaviour.

He’s like a walking medical tricorder, really. Never gets wrong diagnosis.

[lol]

Look at it this way, at least you got an autograph… There’s millions of us wishing we could just be there.

It’s nothing to take personally, as everyone else has said.

There are some nights where they will shake hands, I believe the only exception is Brad, though (who’s the only one I haven’t had luck with). Other nights, they might be really pressed for time, or on the verge of getting sick (which is common on tour).

But, hey, at least you got to meet them and have them sign something, right? That’s all that matters at the end of the day.

Mike shook hands, not Chester

exactly

Get over it. Tis’ their decision if they want to get all chummy chummy or not.

No sh** I agree b glad u got a autograph I was dying to get that email for the M&G I would b happy jus seeing him walk by and wave and SHOEGAZE4U I thought the same thing come on guys have some consideration…

Yes, it’s normal. Chester is decisin not shake hands. Shake hands and say often Bang-Bang. But it’s nothing personal at all meet and greet does the same, I guess. Let’s look at the positive side of this, you got an autograph from the band…

Haha too funny!
