Finding out I was becoming a dad
Was a fantastic feeling
Hear the baby heartbeat
For the first time was surreal
The months slipped pass really fast
We was not prepared
For the news that the doctors would tell us

They told us the baby isn’t growing

I was watching a T.V show about healthcare (NHS in the UK) and they was at a hospital that played a part in my sons life and that’s where the song kinda came from
That with them my son wouldn’t be here

Sometimes I read my lyrics and go “damn, that reminds me of a time when I…”
I like to keep my lyrics as real as possible but with that being said, that’s not to say I haven’t done things thats like “If I had a live show, this would sound cool”
