I wonder how many people would buy it.
Here’s another meat one.
This feedback I got on an assignment last year.
“There is no report…A+”
How many drugs is your lecturer on?
He’s just like that, makes all kinds of mistakes and is really casual about it. He’s a really lean marker though, so if you get anything sub-B with him, you must be a right tool. He makes a lot of mistakes, but when you need help, he tells you exactly what you need and tells you how (often in an email with a lot of errors lol), but he’s always up for a meeting and more to the point, he’s the only lecturer I know that answers emails on weekends and does it relatively quickly. So he’s cool in my book.
My daughter got philosophical today: 'why do we say: in the name of the Father, and the Son and the Holy Spirit instead of in the name of the Mother, and the Daughter and the Holy Spiritess (‘spirtess’ is my own word formation, by the way, we don’t have feminine gender for it in Polish as well). It’s unfair. Why is everything like this about men only?
Welcome to the real world
She lives in the world of the Mother ( with no spirit) and the Daughter and they tell her to talk about the Father and the Son.
Because God (the father) is often interpreted as a male and Jesus (the son) is considered to be a male as well.
I know. But it’s funny how what is obvious for adults seems unfair for kids.
It would require a lecture on religion, history, culture, philosophy to give her any context. And I’m not sure if I’m abke to explain all this to the kid in a few simple words
Especially if the most of her life is about women.
