For the first one, I always just finish with ‘regards’ lol. People have told me that my style of email verges on being rude, just because I dispense with all the pleasantries and waffle and get to the point.

For the second one, I usually run a calculation and a judgement to see how likely they are to say thanks, if they won’t, I just leave it. Or I cut my losses if I get it wrong.

For the third one, I let them know I’m trying to get by, if they don’t move, I just shove them out of the way.
