What do you think Linkin Park should have on their next studio album? I think they should have a heavier older style nu metal chester yelling album. I still want some techno though. If they don’t do that i think Dubstep would be cool! [cool][biggrin]
Yeah I’d love for them to go back to their older style, but still different. The fact that their sound changes so often is one thing I love about Linkin Park. And although there are changes, it stays recognizably LP. But, back on topic :P, I think they should go a bit more heavy metal/rock than Living Things
I’d say I just want them to continue on the path they are on right now. Basically just take the sound from Living Things and expand on that. I think the band has finally find themselves musically and creatively and everyone is happy. LP has always been a band who has fused a bunch of musical styles together, and they sure as hell did that with Living Things. There’s something for all LP fans. It had hip-hop, rock, metal, punk, folk, electronic, etc.
Now that they’ve had the time to experiment with a variety of different styles on every album, they’re learning how to combine everything together as best they can. They’ve said in the past that with every new album, they try and make something unique, and something that’s never been done before. I think if Linkin Park keeps evolving the way they are, they’re going to be around for a long, long time
Have to be honest that I miss Hybrid Theory…
I just wish they will make something quite similar to it…

I want a mix of Living Things with some absurd A Thousand Suns elements and a heavy oldschool LP vibe 
Each of their album brings something new and this is beautiful.
I think they should do what they always do - combine different styles of music. It has always been their ‘trademark’. Whatever they do, I’m sure it will be unique.

Love new style. Living Things album is Awesome.
I really don’t know what kind of wishes I have. As long they have fun to create new music, I’m very sure the next record will be great. So I don’t have specific wishes. Maybe I would wish another song like Castle of Glass, where Chester and Mike harmonize so perfectly.
One thing, though, I’d like to see is more original artwork from the band, namely Joe and Mike. Putting artistic control in someone else’s control just doesn’t feel the same
I agree with LP13413. They have experienced with a lot of different styles. That’s what makes them unique. They always try something new and never seemed to fail at it. They always surprise me every time. No matter what, I will always follow Linkin Park and stand by them in whatever path they take
i would like what they do now with heaps of energy i want something different and unexpected that gives you more goose bumps than what we get now i like all the music
I honestly have no idea. I love the experimental stuff they’ve come out with more recently and want them to carry on with that
